One businessman’s view of this disaster in Washington DC that just makes sense…

It is a fundamental Law of Economics…

the Books have to Balance!

No business will long last if outgo is consistently higher than income, and yet for our government that has been the standard policy for the last 100 years, as is evident by our current National Debt:

Listen to this interview with Developer Steven Wynn: who is an entrepreneur and American casino resort/real-estate developer who has been credited with spearheading the dramatic resurgence and expansion of the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s. His companies refurbished or built some of the most currently widely recognized resorts in Las Vegas such as the Golden Nugget, The Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Wynn, and Encore.

We were warned…

“The end of democracy and defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of the lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.”

“If the American people ever allow banks to issue their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation [by having to maintain a vital circulation by perpetually re-borrowing principal and interest as subsequent sums of debt, increased perpetually so much as periodic interest], the banks and [bank owned] corporations which will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property, until their children wake homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

~ Thomas Jefferson

Another law of economics is you can never achieve multiplication through division; and nor can our government build our economy by robbing from the entrepreneurs and business people, and call it spreading the wealth.

It takes a businessman’s logic, who has to be accountable to his shareholders, to point out the absolute insanity that has taken over in Washington DC, with this administration in particular; but the truth be told, this policy of deficit spending has been going on for the last 100 years.

Whatever happened to the idea that our Congress should be accountable to We the People?

Believe me, to turn this mess around, it will take a miracle of God!

Fortunately I have it on good authority, right from the Holy Bible (in 2nd Chronicles 7:14), that God will do exactly that, if all those who are called by His name (who are Christians) will humble themselves and pray; turn from their wicked ways; and seek God’s face… then God promises that He will heal our land! Selah

Shalom,
