Trusting in man and not in God always leads to enslavement and bondage…

God sent a man before them, named Joseph!

Psalm 105:16-22 (GOD’S WORD Translation)
16He (God) brought a famine to the land.
He took away their food supply.

17He sent a man ahead of them.
He sent Joseph, who was sold as a slave.

18They hurt his feet with shackles, and cut into his neck with an iron collar.

19The Lord’s promise tested him through fiery trials
until his prediction came true.

20The king sent someone to release him.
The ruler of nations set him free.
21He made Joseph the master of his palace
and the ruler of all his possessions.
22Joseph trained the king’s officers the way he wanted
and taught his respected leaders wisdom.

The following sermon was forwarded to me by my friend Ed, now living down under with his new wife, in New Zealand.

The preface to the message reads as follows:

I would love to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader.

Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is… It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.

A Recent Sermon In A Church In Virginia
Scriptures:  Gen 47:13-27

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it’s always a delight to see the pews crowded on  Sunday morning, and people eager to get into God’s Word… Turn with me please in your Bibles, if you will, to the 47th chapter of Genesis; we’ll begin our reading at verse 13 and go through verse 27.

Brother Ray, would you stand and read this great passage for us?  …Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray.

So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt, and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and willingly gave it all to him in return for grain. And, this went on until their money ran out.  Once again, they were hungry.

So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock – their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey – to barter for grain.  Verse 17 says this took them only through the end of that year.

But the famine wasn’t over, was it?

So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. “There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land?  Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.”  So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh’s government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain.

What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?

That turning to the government instead of to God to be our Provider during hard times only leads to slavery?  Yes…, this is the reason government wants to become our provider; it knows it can ultimately become our master.  Yes! Yes! Yes!

But now look look here, how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! “Thus, Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.”  God provided for His people, just as He always has!  They didn’t end up giving all their possessions to the government. No! It says they gained possessions!

But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We see the same thing happening today.  Once again, the government wants to “share the wealth,” to take it from us, and to redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us.  And you know, brothers and sisters when government rations it out, then government decides who gets it, how much, and what kind.

And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people did in Egypt some four thousand years ago.  We will become as slaves to the government –and as slaves to the government’s leaders.

What Mr. Obama’s government is doing now is no different from what Egypt’s Pharaoh did then; and, my brothers and sisters, it will end in the same way…

A lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a “Messiah,” don’t they? I ask you, is he a Messiah? Is he truly a Savior?

After Pharaoh made the Israelites his slaves, did they ever say, “You have saved our lives, Pharaoh?  Did they ever say, “If it pleases our lord, we will be servants to you, Pharaoh”?

Well, I tell you this – I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, my brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.

Bow with me in prayer, if you will.

Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do; where it says “And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.”  And, Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to You because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation… Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect us, Your people, from the atrocities of Pharaoh’s government.

In Jesus Holy Name we pray.  AMEN.

As we examine this well put sermon, what it says is so very true; that the consequence to our looking to man as our source always leads us to enslavement and bondage. This was never God’s plan for mankind, and the reason we can know that is true, is by reading the Bible.

God placed Adam and Eve in their own little paradise or piece of heaven on earth if you will, in a place called Eden.

It was there we learn from Scripture that the Lord would come in the cool of the evening and would walk with them, and commune with them.

God made man, we learn from scripture, for His pleasure; for them to have dominion in the earth; but that dominion was to be exercised in league and in unity with God; where man would choose to fellowship with and obey His Creator.

As always there is always a test; and God’s test for Adam and Eve was that they could partake of every tree in the garden for food, save for one, and that was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

That tree alone God said belonged to Him, and the moment they would eat from that tree God said that they would die… first a spiritual death, meaning their relationship and fellowship with God would end; and in time that also translated to physical death too, as they were barred from partaking of the Tree of Life.

When God choose King Saul to be King of Israel, after Israel demanded an earthly king to rule over them, God said it was because they were rejecting Him; and He warned them what would happen with an earthly king.

It’s in Samuel 8 that we read about this story, and it says there that when Israel demanded a king, they were rejecting God, and were rejecting that He should rule over them.

God had a purpose in not giving Israel a king up to that point. It was because He did not want them to put an ungodly trust in the king, instead of trusting in the LORD.

Now, Israel is rejecting this plan of God, and declaring that they do not want the LORD God to reign over them.

God then tells Samuel to warn the nation of Israel, to show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.

In I Samuel 8:10-18, we read of this warning:

So Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who asked him for a king. And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots.

He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots.

He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants.

He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work.

He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day.”

No, God’s plan was always that He alone would rule over us; and throughout history, as we learn from the Bible, because of our disobedience, and our breaking covenant with God, God often would send a famine into the land, and would withhold the rain.

I can only imagine, though this is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, in this particular story, but I imagine that the reason for this famine, that God sent Joseph ahead to prepare for, was also because man had broken covenant relationship with God.

There are many people among our brothers and sisters who are quick to tell us that God chose Obama to be our president, and I do not at all disagree with them; for often God chooses a wicked ruler to bring punishment, not to destroy His people, but rather to bring them back into union with Him and cause them to repent and to honor their covenant.

This is what I see happening in America today; where we have people (and this is especially true among the Christians) who have allowed wickedness to reign in our nation’s capitol for so long, as time after time we have elected godless men to represent us.

These godless men have made our laws, laws that have killed our babies and enslave our people; and now that this has been going on for so long, our nation is at the brink of economic ruin; and things are going from bad to worse; but still the people, even Christians, are oblivious to what the true problem is; and they are looking again to man, and not to God to be their savior.

I am convinced that the deceit that was prophesied about in the White House, that it is coming from the man who sits in the White House; who is but a religious chameleon.

By that I mean, when it serves his purposes, he calls himself a “Christian,” or sometimes he’s a “Muslim,” depending on who he is speaking to; but truly the only one I believe he believes in is his own political ambition and his own lust for more power and mammon for himself.

I believe that God is still weighing America in the balance and that He is still waiting on Christians to take action, in order to take back our country; and that action starts on our knees, as we follow 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Where it says we are to humble ourselves before God; turn from our wicked ways, and repent (meaning we change the way we think); and then as we begin to seek after God’s face, which speaks to our returning to that same communion and relationship that He once enjoyed with Adam and Eve, in the Garden, then God’s promise is that He will heal our land. Selah

The next thing I’d like to point out is the need for Christians, in the USA, to study our history and the formation of our Constitutional Republic, as well as our Bible; but the reason why they need to study the formation of our country and our U.S. Constitution is because we are being robbed blind by dishonest men and women in Washington DC who are themselves violating their oath of office, and they don’t have the slightest intention of preserving, protecting and defending our Constitution!!!

Quite the contrary, that one document is all that is keeping them from achieving their one goal of their handlers, and their god, who is Satan, from establishing His New World Order.

Wise up folks and pray, don’t be so naïve!

This is our future we are talking about, and the future of our children; and if we don’t care enough to take action to protect it, as countless others have, and still are today, in our military, then who else will?

Watch and pray, and wake up is all I have to say!

Be loosed from your safe harbor moorings, and launch your faith out into the deep…

God’s invitation is to come launch your faith out into the deep!

The Bewildering Call of God

God called Jesus Christ to what seemed absolute disaster. And Jesus Christ called His disciples to see Him put to death, leading every one of them to the place where their hearts were broken.

His life was an absolute failure from every standpoint except God’s. But what seemed to be failure from man’s standpoint was a triumph from God’s standpoint, because God’s purpose is never the same as man’s purpose.

This bewildering call of God comes into our lives as well. The call of God can never be understood absolutely or explained externally; it is a call that can only be perceived and understood internally by our true inner-nature.

The call of God is like the call of the sea— no one hears it except the person who has the nature of the sea in him.

What God calls us to cannot be definitely stated, because His call is simply to be His friend to accomplish His own purposes.

Our real test is in truly believing that God knows what He desires. The things that happen do not happen by chance— they happen entirely by the decree of God. God is sovereignly working out His own purposes.

If we are in fellowship and oneness with God and recognize that He is taking us into His purposes, then we will no longer strive to find out what His purposes are.

As we grow in the Christian life, it becomes simpler to us, because we are less inclined to say, “I wonder why God allowed this or that?” And we begin to see that the compelling purpose of God lies behind everything in life, and that God is divinely shaping us into oneness with that purpose.

A Christian is someone who trusts in the knowledge and the wisdom of God, not in his own abilities. If we have a purpose of our own, it destroys the simplicity and the calm, relaxed pace which should be characteristic of the children of God.

http://utmost.org/

Old sailors know about this call, of those who have that predisposition and experience of being at home in the sea.

I’ve even heard it said that sometimes there is even a very definite and unworldly beaconing and calling that they feel, almost as with a magnet, drawing and beaconing them to come.

Well, God’s calling is much like that; but to answer it will requiring our willingness to face the unknown, and loose our long established moorings of the status quo, and the average and ordinary, in our own little harbors of safety.

Battleships are very impressive to look at and I for one love to tour them and marvel at their beauty and awesome might and power; but battleships though they may come into a harbor from time to time, the harbor is never its home. No, battleships are made for the open seas!

And so it is with us, for like those battleships, neither have we been made for the safe and ordinary; but we are constructed and destined for greatness, to be soldiers of the Most High God, and as such for us to stay in safe harbors, just rusting away in idleness, looking impressive, as no doubt we often think; but nevertheless it is a complete waste of God’s resources; and never did He intend for us to remain in shallow waters.

I like what the above devotion said about how God’s ways and means at accomplishing His purposes are so far different from ours!

Truly as it God says in the Bible: My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, ‘says the LORD.’ And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts
(Isa 55:8-9)

Yet for us to continually attempt to navigate solely by our understanding, our experience, and our limited knowledge, is to severely handicap ourselves if we desire to be fit for God’s service.

Notice in the above devotion how Mr. Chambers points out how God’s call upon Jesus Christ, at least at first glance, from this world’s perspective, and with its values, Jesus life first seemed like an absolute disaster and failure; in that Jesus ended up dying on a Cross; leaving each of His disciples with a broken heart, and an extreme sense of loss!

Truly, from this worlds standards, Christ’s death on the cross looked in every way to be an absolute failure, but not to God!!!

We must understand this by faith, that what seems to be a failure from man’s standpoint, when done in cooperation and in obedience to God, will always end up to be a huge triumph, because God’s purposes, and His ways of doing things, are always much different from that of men.

Compare that with what’s going on in your own life today, and what you are presently facing. Possibly to you, in your understanding and in all that you are presently hearing from your own committee voices (your self-talk), within your own thoughts (which is quite often where the enemy attacks us), and possibly also from those around you, among your family, friends, and coworkers, who are also seeing only from a carnal perspective, from all of these different voices you may be hearing nothing but that you are a failure!

Again at this point we must pause and remind ourselves that God’s purposes are not ours; and that His ways and means of accomplishing His purposes in our life are far different from anything we would think to do, or even imagine.

From our perspective, and with our limited understanding and foresight, it often appears as if everything is going in exactly the opposite direction, from where we need to go; and if we spend very much time listening to our committee voices, then we will soon find ourselves discouraged, depressed, and maybe even angry, as though we have been abandoned by God.

Did not Jesus also feel abandoned, as He hung on His Cross?

So too will we; and we must also recognize that we too are called to carry a cross that we are to die on. And by death I mean we die to our own understanding, and our ambitions; as we relinquish complete control of our lives and our wills to be directed by the Holy Spirit.

Until we have done that we are not where God is calling us to be, neither physically, spiritually, nor mentally… and we have in fact chosen to remain anchored in our safe harbor!

Just as we read what Mr. Chamber said in the above devotion: The call of God is like the call of the sea— no one hears it except the person who has the nature of the sea in him.”

Likewise, until we have God’s nature inside of us; until we are filled with the Holy Spirit, and are continually being refilled everyday (for we leak in this world); and until we have put on the mind of Christ (as scripture instructs every Christian to do); then we are navigating solely by our limited understanding, and our own limited knowledge, and so of course we are handicapped.

We must understand and know by faith that every trail, and every circumstance that we face in life, that each and everyone is a test, where God is watching us to see how we react; and whether we will obey His leading, or follow our flesh?

We must understand also that the things that are happening in our life, as a result of decisions and choices that we have made, have either taken us closer to God’s purpose, or have possibly delayed God’s purpose in our life; and truly not until we have completely relinquished our perceived rights to self, as the masters of our destiny, and have give that over to God, it’s not until we have done that, that we know ALL things are now being worked together for our good, according to God’s master plan for our life… because at that point God knows that we love Him and are truly submitting by faith to His call and plan for our life!

We all are looking to experience so much more; and instinctively we all know there has to be more to our life than what we have thus far experienced. The problem occurs when we are looking to fulfill our desires and our will; and not God’s!

To the extent we all do this, by nature, and even (as the Bible says) each one of us like dumb sheep, we have gone astray, as we have chosen our own way, travelling by the sparks of light that we have made, with our limited understanding, without regard to the plans and purposes of God for our lives; and to the extent we all do this, it is called SIN; and it is that sin which has separated us from our God!

The road home, to be reconciled back into God’s family, and then to be put on course for the absolute ride of a lifetime; and experience what Jesus Called an Abundant Life,” it requires that we begin to live our lives much differently from the way the world does; it requires that we begin to chart our course by the directions found in the Holy Bible, meaning that we must begin meditating upon it day and night, to know what it says; and it also means that we begin to sensitize ourselves to the presence, the voice, and the leaning of the Holy Spirit in our lives; and that we begin to walk in communion with Him moment by moment, 24/7, 365 days a year.

However, none of that can even begin to happen until we loose ourselves from our present moorings, and we launch our faith out into the deep, for it is ONLY in the deep that the Holy Spirit hangs out.

That is where all the action and excitements is; where miracles and the supernatural become everyday occurrences. Selah

It is also where we experience an Abundant life,” as we are fulfilling our destiny in cooperation with, and in union and oneness with the Spirit of God, who lives inside of every born-again child of God!

So my encouragement to you today, if you haven’t yet signed up for this adventure, that you don’t put it off another day; and if you are a Believer but are hanging out in your safe harbor, begin today to let go, and let God!!! Selah

One businessman’s view of this disaster in Washington DC that just makes sense…

It is a fundamental Law of Economics…

the Books have to Balance!

No business will long last if outgo is consistently higher than income, and yet for our government that has been the standard policy for the last 100 years, as is evident by our current National Debt:

Listen to this interview with Developer Steven Wynn: who is an entrepreneur and American casino resort/real-estate developer who has been credited with spearheading the dramatic resurgence and expansion of the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s. His companies refurbished or built some of the most currently widely recognized resorts in Las Vegas such as the Golden Nugget, The Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Wynn, and Encore.

Steve Wynn Takes on Washington – CNBC Interview

We were warned…

“The end of democracy and defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of the lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.”

“If the American people ever allow banks to issue their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation [by having to maintain a vital circulation by perpetually re-borrowing principal and interest as subsequent sums of debt, increased perpetually so much as periodic interest], the banks and [bank owned] corporations which will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property, until their children wake homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

~ Thomas Jefferson

Another law of economics is you can never achieve multiplication through division; and nor can our government build our economy by robbing from the entrepreneurs and business people, and call it spreading the wealth.

It takes a businessman’s logic, who has to be accountable to his shareholders, to point out the absolute insanity that has taken over in Washington DC, with this administration in particular; but the truth be told, this policy of deficit spending has been going on for the last 100 years.

Whatever happened to the idea that our Congress should be accountable to We the People?

Believe me, to turn this mess around, it will take a miracle of God!

Fortunately I have it on good authority, right from the Holy Bible (in 2nd Chronicles 7:14), that God will do exactly that, if all those who are called by His name (who are Christians) will humble themselves and pray; turn from their wicked ways; and seek God’s face… then God promises that He will heal our land! The importance of our becoming as little children…

The secret to life is JOY; that we learn to rejoice in the Lord always!!!

And Jesus said unto his disciples:

I tell you a truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Rejoice, this is the day that the Lord has made!

The humble have seen–they rejoice, Ye who seek God–and your heart liveth. Psalm 69:32 (YLT)

There is an important lesson here and in other places of God’s Word, namely that humility and gladness go together.

What do the humble and the joyous have in common?

They both look up. The humble are those who don’t look down on anyone. The truly humble look up all the time. They have to look up, because their eyes are on God, and He’s above them.

The joyous are always looking up as well, otherwise they wouldn’t be rejoicing. The joyous are believing the Good News, so they rejoice!

The prideful, however, are those who think they’re above everything else and so they look down on people.

The prideful are connected to the others who look down, the cynical, the doubting, the despairing, the depressed, the sorrowful and the hopeless.

In the same way that the humble and the joyous go together, so do pride and despair.

Humility leads to joy. Pride leads to despair. Let’s get our eyes off ourselves, off of our problems, off of the world around us.

Let’s fix our eyes on Him, the Redeemer of our souls. Those who look up in humility, also look up in joy!

Together, let’s fix our eyes on Him and be glad!!

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

One thing about children is they tell it like it is, without any guile or hidden agendas; and you know something… Jesus is exactly that same way!

We all started out there, but life has its way of molding and shaping us after this fallen and depraved world; where after having been toss about and hurt a number of times, we tend to regress and withdrawal behind facades and walls that we erect around us to protect us and to hide our vulnerability.

All of this, though it is quite natural that we would do this, it shows a complete lack of trust in God and faith in God; and it leaves any resolution God would have to our situation out of the picture.

You see, before you can begin with God, you must first be willing to humble yourself in His presence, or else He will humble you; but mind you it will not be to destroy you, but rather it will be to cause you to come to repentance.

Then the next step is to repent, which comes from a Greek word which literally means to change the way you think; not as the world thinks, and not as your circumstances and life have caused you to think; but to begin to put on the Mind of Christ.

The way you do this is by faith you begin to follow the leading and instructions of the Bible; you begin to follow God’s instructions on how to live and deal with life; and you begin a life of communion with the Holy Spirit.

Next, and this is very important, you must forgive all those who have hurt you; you must release them from any debt, or perceived obligation you may feel toward them of having them make restitution for their sins against you; or of seeing them suffer the way they possible have caused you to suffer.

In other words, you release them completely, and you give it over completely to God; forgiving them as God has forgiven you.

Forgiveness after all, in both the Hebrew and Greek, means to release and to let go; and it does not at all require the other person to in anyway acknowledge your apology, if you have sinned against them; and nor does it necessarily involve reconciliation, through of course that would be the desired goal… it just means you release it ALL, and it is no longer your burden or problem!

The Bible is very clear here, that unless you are willing to release others in this way, then you cannot be forgiven of your sins; and if God doesn’t forgive you, then you cannot be saved.

That is how important it is to release and to forgive others!

This is just something for us ALL to think about today.

God’s Prime Directive is…

He Already Knows
August 2, 2010 — by Bill Crowder

Listen Now

A friend who is a commercial pilot told me about a flight in which he encountered a serious mechanical issue—a problem with dangerous implications. When the situation occurred, the warning lights in the cockpit informed him of the problem and he monitored it all the way to the destination, ultimately landing safely.

Once on the ground, the pilot immediately went to the maintenance staff and reported it. To his surprise, the mechanics responded, “We already know about the problem and are ready to fix it. When you got the cockpit warning, we automatically got an electronic warning as well.”

As he shared that incident, I couldn’t help but compare it to Jesus’ words about our heavenly Father: “Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him” (Matt. 6:8). He said this in contrast to people who believe that they must “use vain repetitions . . . . For they think that they will be heard for their many words” (v.7). Jesus presupposes God’s knowledge of and concern for His children.

Even though God knows our needs, He still wants us to share our hearts with Him. He stands ready to hear our prayer and to repair our brokenness by His grace.

Although God knows our every need,
His work He wants to share;
He takes us into partnership
By calling us to prayer. —D. De Haan

Prayer is the voice of faith, trusting that God knows and cares.

The Bible says there is a way that seems right unto man, but that it ends in death!

It also says that the road to destruction and is wide, and many there be that take it; but the road to life is narrow, and few there be that follow it.

So what’s the difference and why is it that most people choose to follow the road to destruction, which by the way means an eternal state of separation from God?

The secret of life is having communion and relationship with your Creator; but something called SIN interfered with our relationship.

Our sins have separated us from God, is what the Bible says; and sin is that part of our human nature that asserts our own will above the will and purposes of God.

To the extent we ALL as sheep have gone astray, and have chosen our own way, and have lived our lives without regard to the will and purpose of God for our life, the Bible says we are outside of relationship with God, and are estranged from Him; meaning also that we have been barred from His Kingdom.

This thing called sin is as a disease that will keep us out of Heaven, and the only cure for that disease is provided in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His atonement for mankind provided for us on Calvary’s Cross.

Most people are aware that there is more to life and are instinctively pursuing various avenues of fulfillment, howbeit most of those avenues that are sought deal only with the satisfaction of the flesh, having to do with the pride of life, the lust of the eyes and the carnal nature of man; but since we are created in the image and likeness of God, who is Himself a Spirit, in order for us to have communion with Him, and for us to experience life abundantly (as we were intended to do) Jesus said that we must do so in Spirit and in truth.

How do we go about entering into this communion with God; and how do we make the decision to follow the narrow road?

The answer is quite simply you must deny yourself. In other words, we must deny our natural impulses, including our reasoning and our own understanding, and we must begin to allow ourselves to be reprogrammed by the Holy Spirit; allowing Him to rewrite the flawed and virus (sin) ridden programming of the world.

In other words we must let go of something we each by nature have learned to cling to and to worship, and are born into this world demanding that that it be first, and that is own our flesh; and we must turn away and deny all that is associated with our connection to this fallen world system that has refused to submit to its creator, and has instead chosen to idolize and to worship the creation and created things, rather than the one true God!

For those of you who have submitted to this process, and are Born-again, we all have relatives, friends, loved ones, and neighbors who have yet to come to this realization; and the ONLY cure and way to reach these people, I believe personally, is to do the same thing that someone did for us, in order for us to finally see the light… and that is to intercede and to pray for them. There is no other way!

The carnal nature of the world, and the forces of evil that are made available and are provided in the world in order to allure and to deceive are very powerful indeed; but all that the world has to offer doesn’t hold a candle to what God has provided us in Jesus Christ our Lord.

But for us to experience this New Life for ourselves, we must first be willing to forsake the world; die to our self, meaning to our will, our ambitions and our desires; and we must freely relinquish the reins of our life to the one who authored and created us, the one who is our Creator and God, who is Jesus Christ! Selah

In conclusion I will just leave you with the words of Jesus, and leave you with the decision of which of the two paths in life will you take… the one that leads to Life, or the one that leads to eternal separation from God?

  • For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (Mat 16:25)
  • “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”
    (Luke 6:46)
  • Jesus said: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
    (John 14:15)

One thing you must not let escape your attention from today’s lesson and that is this one important fact, that your life is a gift from God; but it is includes a maze of different paths, and each path will require a decision and choice for you to make, where we exercise our free will to choose.

Either we are following the lead of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, denying our self and our understanding; or we are following our path according to our understanding, and our perception; but understand this folks, there is a day of reckoning coming, when we each will have to give an account for our life, and what we have done with Jesus Christ.

For those who are born-again, who have relinquished their rights to self and have freely given there will over to serve Jesus, their sins are covered and forgiven; but for all others, for everyone who has refused to accept God’s only door to forgiveness and reconciliation, who have instead chosen to hang on to their anger, unforgiveness and resentment, who have refused to let go and let God, for those people they each will be without a Saviour and will have to answer for their own sins.

This is not my opinion, but this is what the Bible clearly says; and so that is why it is so very important that every person avail him or herself of whatever time they have left in this world, starting today in this moment, to consider this man Christ Jesus, for to ignore Him has dire consequences.

So listen up, if you are not happy with the direction your life is going, then might I suggest the reason is you are going against the flow of God’s Spirit for your life.

Change directions and start by repenting, meaning literally to change the way you think; and begin this day and every day, let go of your anger and resentment against ALL those who have wronged you; lest as the Bible warns we give a foothold to the Devil in our lives.

Instead make Jesus Lord and master of your life; be his conduit and distributors of Agape (love) to this lost world; and don’t you dare leave home without Him!!! Selah

For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace.

The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.

Thank you for your attention!

P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice,

And you may contact the Father any time by ‘Knee mail’!

Because He Lives!

My thanks to Dennis for forwarding the above recall notice… this is very important that this message be passed forward.

Please do distribute to all your friends, family, neighbors, fellow workers, and etc; as the time of expiration on this recall is near at hand!

The ONLY time available for recalled units to receive corrective measures and to be reconciled back into God’s family is sometime between when they come into this world at birth; and when they leave upon their death… and there are no exception to this rule.

Listen to what Jesus said happens after death:

Even thought we have a man in the White House who claims to be a “Christian,” he is on record as saying that faith in Allah will lead a person to heaven. So who is this god Allah?

Make no mistake, there is ONLY one Name under heaven whereby any man can be saved, and it is not through any other god, nor religion; it’s not through Islam and their god Baal (aka, Allah); nor is it through Scientology; or Hinduism; Buddhism; or Hare Krishna; but ONLY through Jesus Christ!

Please note also that your grandmother’s faith, or other loved one, regardless of who they are, will not save you!

We are each personally accountable and neither will your membership in a church or any one particular denomination. These things do not make you a “Christian!”

This is no small decision and for those who make the decision to follow Christ it will cost them everything; so as the Bible says, count the cost before you jump!

So who is this Man Christ Jesus, upon which all of history hinges; whose birth separates BC from AD?

C.S. Lewis in his book Mere Christianity writes the following: “I am trying here to prevent anyone from saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him [Jesus Christ]: ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with a man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that option open to us. He did not intend to.”

So, who did Jesus claim to be? Who does the Bible say He is? First, let’s look at Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement, “‘We are not stoning you for any of these,’ replied the Jews, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God’” (John 10:33). The Jews understood Jesus’ statement as a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, “I did not claim to be God.” That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). John 8:58 is another example: “‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’” Again, in response, the Jews took up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Jesus’ announcing His identity as “I am” is a direct application of the Old Testament name for God (Exodus 3:14). Why would the Jews again want to stone Jesus if He had not said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God?

John 1:1 says “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says “the Word became flesh.” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Thomas the disciple declared to Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. The apostle Paul describes Him as, “…our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). The apostle Peter says the same, “…our God and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:1). God the Father is witness of Jesus’ full identity as well, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” Old Testament prophecies of Christ announce His deity, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

So, as C.S. Lewis argued, believing Jesus to be only a good teacher is not an option. Jesus clearly and undeniably claimed to be God. If He is not God, then He is a liar, and therefore not a prophet, good teacher, or godly man. In attempts to explain away the words of Jesus, modern “scholars” claim the “true historical Jesus” did not say many of the things the Bible attributes to Him. Who are we to argue with God’s Word concerning what Jesus did or did not say? How can a “scholar” two thousand years removed from Jesus have better insight into what Jesus did or did not say than those who lived with, served with, and were taught by Jesus Himself (John 14:26)?

Why is the question over Jesus’ true identity so important? Why does it matter whether or not Jesus is God? The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus’ deity is why He is the only way of salvation. Jesus’ deity is why He proclaimed, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Understand also that it matters not what your past is, or how bad and/or how reckless you may have lived your life. On that score we are all in the same boat and are equally lost without a Saviour; and unless we make our peace with God within the allotted time, which by the way gets narrower and narrower for each of us with each passing day; and mind you tomorrow is promised to no man; and unless we make our peace with God before we pass from this life then we are destined for an eternity without God, and that is the worst kind of hell I can imagine!

What must I do to be save?

So if you haven’t done so yet, please make your reservations now for eternity; and for further instructions and a road map please look to the Holy Bible; and also here is a website that may help: http://needhim.org/.
