Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

¹ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
² I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

³ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler^[a]
And from the perilous pestilence.
⁴ He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
⁵ You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
⁶ Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

⁷ A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
⁸ Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

⁹ Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
¹⁰ No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
¹¹ For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
¹² In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
¹³ You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

¹⁴ “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
¹⁵ He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
¹⁶ With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Who is the chief?  These are days of human power.  Kings and super kings appear everywhere.  Each of them is reaching for and beseeching more power.

They argue, threaten and make war with each other.

Alliances of kings are made and then fall apart.

I say unto you today, let such chief’s learn and take heed to the example of John, the last of the old covenant prophets and the forerunner of Jesus.

He bowed to the One about whom he said, “He is my Chief.”

And John, according to the one true Chief, was acclaimed by the Chief that no one was greater than John.

I say again, get your priorities straight, let the One who was and is the Chief of John be the Chief for whom the whole earth longs.

John 1:15 (AMP) “John testified about Him and cried out, this was He of Whom I said, He Who comes after me has priority over me, for He was before me.  [He takes rank above me, for He existed before I did.  He has advanced before me, because He is my Chief. Ras Robinson

There is a challenge coming.  It has been launched and is on its way.

You won’t worry.  Because you have seen this coming for quite awhile, you will stay in tight with Me, close up under My wing.

That is a good safe place for you.  I love it because you will be with Me, and we will have sweet communion.

Destruction will pass right on by, because it won’t see you.  You will not be afraid, because you will be in My peaceful safe hiding place.

You will be like Paul and Silas when they were in jail, singing in the face of adversity.  Many will see and be blessed.

Acts 16:25-26 (NLT)  “Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations.  All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”  Bev Robinson
