Parkinson’s Disease

We have enough insight on this disease initially and spiritually to give me the faith to move ahead now in actual ministry.

The only way we know we are going to get this one is to be involved and start applying the principles we see.

Then, if God will honor this insight, He will give the healing.

In the state of New York, there is a family of three generations with Parkinson’s disease.

Two brothers have already died. In the three generations, they all have Parkinson’s.

I am a member of the Parkinson’s Foundation of America because I am tapping into what they are doing.

Current research is pointing to a deficiency of dopamine as the cause.

When we have either under- or over-secretion of various neurotransmitters, I have always found either a genetic or spiritual component behind it.

Either way it has a spiritual root.

I consider Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and autism to be spiritually rooted diseases.

In the case of Parkinson’s, my initial investigation indicates unresolved rejection, massive amounts of abandonment, rejection and hope deferred.

As a point to ponder, personal and family involvement may be implicated.

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

Parkinson’s is the result of lowered levels of dopamine, the pleasure neurotransmitter of the body.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. So when you have hope deferred, that is a state of lack of faith.

Therefore dopamine values are lowered resulting in the tremors of Parkinson’s.

The beginning of healing and prevention is the second part of this Scripture. But when desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

Dopamine values will increase with respect to the renewed desires, which are the foundation of hope.

Hopelessness is then defeated and the disease can be healed.

The disease can be prevented by avoiding brooding over past failures and mistakes.

Things of the past that did not work out need to be released and new projects planned.

I have a saying: “You don’t cry over spilled milk…you just find a new cow and milk her.”

So pick up your failures, leave them in the past and let His mercies and faith be part of your new day in Him.
