Please note that the Globalist agenda, and those people who operate behind the scenes, in the shadows and in darkness, who would see us drawn into a “New World Order,” they cannot achieve their objective with our U.S. Constitution intact; and so the seeds that have been eroding our rights and liberties away, little by little, started many years ago.
The date is February 21, 1871 and the Forty-First Congress is in session:
I refer you to the “Acts of the Forty-First Congress,” Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62.
On this date in the history of our nation, Congress passed an Act titled: “An Act To Provide A Government for the District of Columbia.” This is also known as the “Act of 1871.” What does this mean? Well, it means that Congress, under no constitutional authority to do so, created a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, which is a ten mile square parcel of land.
What??? How could they do that? Moreover, WHY would they do that?
To explain, let’s look at the circumstances of those days. The Act of 1871 was passed at a vulnerable time in America. Our nation was essentially bankrupt — weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War. The Civil War itself was nothing more than a calculated “front” for some pretty fancy footwork by corporate backroom players. It was a strategic maneuver by European interests (the international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the neck (and the coffers) of America.

Let us all give thanks for our country, and for our Grand Old Flag; and also for our U.S. Constitution that affords us all of our rights and liberties, that are guaranteed under our original U.S. Constitution; rights that have since been whittled away at for more than 100 years now; and many of which have today become privileges, which our government now reserves the right to take away from us, at their discretion.

This is NOT the government of the people, by the people, and for the people that our original founding fathers had in mind.

I found this interview between Kelby and RJ very interesting (Listen here to: Part 1, and Part 2); but not knowing a lot about this history, regarding the Treaty of Paris, I decided to look into it and try and educate myself; and have passed what I found along to all those of you, who are interested.

So what was this Treaty of Paris?


1. Treaty of Paris 1763

The Treaty of Paris, often called the Peace of Paris, or the Treaty of 1763, was signed on 10 February 1763, by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal in agreement. It ended the French and Indian War/Seven Years’ War. The treaty marked the beginning of an extensive period of British dominance outside Europe.

The Treaty of Paris of 1763 (along with the companion Treaty of Hubertusburg) ended the Seven Years’ War, the American counterpart of which was the French and Indian War.

In a nutshell, Britain emerged as the world’s leading colonial empire. Her possessions stretched from India to Africa to the West Indies to North America. The British shocked knowledgeable people of the day by choosing to take the barren wasteland of Canada from France, rather than the prosperous West Indian sugar islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique.

Britain made many gains, but they could have received more. George III, new to the throne, was fearful of the power amassed by Secretary of State William Pitt. The king replaced him and pushed peace negotiations, preferring to give back recently taken territories in order to conclude the conflict.

The following partial summary gives an indication of the worldwide scope of the changes brought by these treaties:

2. Treaty of Paris (1783)

The Treaty of Paris, signed on September 3, 1783, ratified by the Congress of the Confederation  on January 14, 1784, and by the King of Great Britain on April 9, 1784 (the ratification documents were exchanged in Paris on May 12, 1784), formally ended the American Revolutionary War between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the United States of America, which had rebelled against British rule. The other combatant nations, France, Spain and the Dutch Republic had separate agreements; for details of these, and the negotiations which produced all four treaties, see Peace of Paris (1783).

The treaty document was signed at the Hotel d’York – which is now 56 Rue Jacob – by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay (representing the United States) and David Hartley (a member of the British Parliament representing the British Monarch, King George III). Hartley was lodging at the hotel, which was therefore chosen in preference to the nearby British Embassy – 44 Rue Jacob – as “neutral” ground for the signing.

On September 3, Britain also signed separate agreements with France and Spain, and (provisionally) with the Netherlands. In the treaty with Spain, the colonies of East and West Florida were ceded to Spain (without any clearly defined northern boundary, resulting in disputed territory resolved with the Treaty of Madrid), as was the island of Minorca, while the Bahama Islands, Grenada and Montserrat, captured by the French and Spanish, were returned to Britain. The treaty with France was mostly about exchanges of captured territory (France’s only net gains were the island of Tobago, and Senegal in Africa), but also reinforced earlier treaties, guaranteeing fishing rights off Newfoundland. Dutch possessions in the East Indies, captured in 1781, were returned by Britain to the Netherlands in exchange for trading privileges in the Dutch East Indies.

The American Congress of the Confederation, which met temporarily in Annapolis, Maryland, ratified the treaty of Paris on January 14, 1784 (Ratification Day).[1] Copies were sent back to Europe for ratification by the other parties involved, the first reaching France in March. British ratification occurred on April 9, 1784, and the ratified versions were exchanged in Paris on May 12, 1784. It was not for some time, though, that the Americans in the countryside received the news due to the lack of communication.

This same family is also the owners, or at least the head family, to which all others answer to, who both control and own our Federal Reserve System, which is a privately owned corporation; and we as a free people can no longer tolerate their lies and deception; or we shall lose ALL our liberties and freedoms!

Wake up America; and Christians we need to continue to watch and pray… but let us not remain idol and watch these criminals in Washington DC rob us of our Constitutional Republic, and enslave us under their New World Order!

Mind you the reason I refer to these men and women in our government as criminals is because without exception most have violated the highest law of our land, which is our U.S. Constitution; and also they have violated their oath of office to always preserve, protect, and to defend our Constitution.

People, we can ill afford to have people operating at the helm of our country who have other personal agendas or allegiances outside of our God ordained covenant, established by our forefathers, and the principals and laws of God’s Word, as found in the Holy Bible; in addition, we can no longer tolerate people making decisions for our nation’s future, who are exceeding their Constitutionally mandated authority; and who do not have the best interest of our country at heart.

Anyone who endorses a New World Order is a traitor to both our Flag and our U.S. Constitution, and they need to be tried as such!

Trusting in man and not in God always leads to enslavement and bondage…

Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is… It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.

A Recent Sermon In A Church In Virginia
Scriptures:  Gen 47:13-27

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it’s always a delight to see the pews crowded on  Sunday morning, and people eager to get into God’s Word… Turn with me please in your Bibles, if you will, to the 47th chapter of Genesis; we’ll begin our reading at verse 13 and go through verse 27.

Brother Ray, would you stand and read this great passage for us?  …Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray.

So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt, and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and willingly gave it all to him in return for grain. And, this went on until their money ran out.  Once again, they were hungry.

So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock – their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey – to barter for grain.  Verse 17 says this took them only through the end of that year.

But the famine wasn’t over, was it?

So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. “There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land?  Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.”  So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh’s government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain.

What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?

That turning to the government instead of to God to be our Provider during hard times only leads to slavery?  Yes…, this is the reason government wants to become our provider; it knows it can ultimately become our master.  Yes! Yes! Yes!

But now look look here, how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! “Thus, Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.”  God provided for His people, just as He always has!  They didn’t end up giving all their possessions to the government. No! It says they gained possessions!

But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We see the same thing happening today.  Once again, the government wants to “share the wealth,” to take it from us, and to redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us.  And you know, brothers and sisters when government rations it out, then government decides who gets it, how much, and what kind.

And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people did in Egypt some four thousand years ago.  We will become as slaves to the government –and as slaves to the government’s leaders.

What Mr. Obama’s government is doing now is no different from what Egypt’s Pharaoh did then; and, my brothers and sisters, it will end in the same way…

A lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a “Messiah,” don’t they? I ask you, is he a Messiah? Is he truly a Savior?

After Pharaoh made the Israelites his slaves, did they ever say, “You have saved our lives, Pharaoh?  Did they ever say, “If it pleases our lord, we will be servants to you, Pharaoh”?

Well, I tell you this – I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, my brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.

Bow with me in prayer, if you will.

Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do; where it says “And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.”  And, Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to You because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation… Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect us, Your people, from the atrocities of Pharaoh’s government.

In Jesus Holy Name we pray.  AMEN.

As we examine this well put sermon, what it says is so very true; that the consequence to our looking to man as our source always leads us to enslavement and bondage. This was never God’s plan for mankind, and the reason we can know that is true, is by reading the Bible.

God placed Adam and Eve in their own little paradise or piece of heaven on earth if you will, in a place called Eden.

It was there we learn from Scripture that the Lord would come in the cool of the evening and would walk with them, and commune with them.

God made man, we learn from scripture, for His pleasure; for them to have dominion in the earth; but that dominion was to be exercised in league and in unity with God; where man would choose to fellowship with and obey His Creator.

As always there is always a test; and God’s test for Adam and Eve was that they could partake of every tree in the garden for food, save for one, and that was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

That tree alone God said belonged to Him, and the moment they would eat from that tree God said that they would die… first a spiritual death, meaning their relationship and fellowship with God would end; and in time that also translated to physical death too, as they were barred from partaking of the Tree of Life.

When God choose King Saul to be King of Israel, after Israel demanded an earthly king to rule over them, God said it was because they were rejecting Him; and He warned them what would happen with an earthly king.

It’s in Samuel 8 that we read about this story, and it says there that when Israel demanded a king, they were rejecting God, and were rejecting that He should rule over them.

God had a purpose in not giving Israel a king up to that point. It was because He did not want them to put an ungodly trust in the king, instead of trusting in the LORD.

Now, Israel is rejecting this plan of God, and declaring that they do not want the LORD God to reign over them.

God then tells Samuel to warn the nation of Israel, to show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.

In I Samuel 8:10-18, we read of this warning:

So Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who asked him for a king. And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots.

He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots.

He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants.

He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work.

He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day.”

No, God’s plan was always that He alone would rule over us; and throughout history, as we learn from the Bible, because of our disobedience, and our breaking covenant with God, God often would send a famine into the land, and would withhold the rain.

I can only imagine, though this is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, in this particular story, but I imagine that the reason for this famine, that God sent Joseph ahead to prepare for, was also because man had broken covenant relationship with God.

There are many people among our brothers and sisters who are quick to tell us that God chose Obama to be our president, and I do not at all disagree with them; for often God chooses a wicked ruler to bring punishment, not to destroy His people, but rather to bring them back into union with Him and cause them to repent and to honor their covenant.

This is what I see happening in America today; where we have people (and this is especially true among the Christians) who have allowed wickedness to reign in our nation’s capitol for so long, as time after time we have elected godless men to represent us.

These godless men have made our laws, laws that have killed our babies and enslave our people; and now that this has been going on for so long, our nation is at the brink of economic ruin; and things are going from bad to worse; but still the people, even Christians, are oblivious to what the true problem is; and they are looking again to man, and not to God to be their savior.

I am convinced that the deceit that was prophesied about in the White House, that it is coming from the man who sits in the White House; who is but a religious chameleon.

By that I mean, when it serves his purposes, he calls himself a “Christian,” or sometimes he’s a “Muslim,” depending on who he is speaking to; but truly the only one I believe he believes in is his own political ambition and his own lust for more power and mammon for himself.

I believe that God is still weighing America in the balance and that He is still waiting on Christians to take action, in order to take back our country; and that action starts on our knees, as we follow 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Where it says we are to humble ourselves before God; turn from our wicked ways, and repent (meaning we change the way we think); and then as we begin to seek after God’s face, which speaks to our returning to that same communion and relationship that He once enjoyed with Adam and Eve, in the Garden, then God’s promise is that He will heal our land. Selah

The next thing I’d like to point out is the need for Christians, in the USA, to study our history and the formation of our Constitutional Republic, as well as our Bible; but the reason why they need to study the formation of our country and our U.S. Constitution is because we are being robbed blind by dishonest men and women in Washington DC who are themselves violating their oath of office, and they don’t have the slightest intention of preserving, protecting and defending our Constitution!!!

Quite the contrary, that one document is all that is keeping them from achieving their one goal of their handlers, and their god, who is Satan, from establishing His New World Order.

Wise up folks and pray, don’t be so naïve!

This is our future we are talking about, and the future of our children; and if we don’t care enough to take action to protect it, as countless others have, and still are today, in our military, then who else will?

Watch and pray, and wake up is all I have to say!

The Bewildering Call of God

God called Jesus Christ to what seemed absolute disaster. And Jesus Christ called His disciples to see Him put to death, leading every one of them to the place where their hearts were broken.

His life was an absolute failure from every standpoint except God’s. But what seemed to be failure from man’s standpoint was a triumph from God’s standpoint, because God’s purpose is never the same as man’s purpose.

This bewildering call of God comes into our lives as well. The call of God can never be understood absolutely or explained externally; it is a call that can only be perceived and understood internally by our true inner-nature.

The call of God is like the call of the sea— no one hears it except the person who has the nature of the sea in him.

What God calls us to cannot be definitely stated, because His call is simply to be His friend to accomplish His own purposes.

Our real test is in truly believing that God knows what He desires. The things that happen do not happen by chance— they happen entirely by the decree of God. God is sovereignly working out His own purposes.

If we are in fellowship and oneness with God and recognize that He is taking us into His purposes, then we will no longer strive to find out what His purposes are.

As we grow in the Christian life, it becomes simpler to us, because we are less inclined to say, “I wonder why God allowed this or that?” And we begin to see that the compelling purpose of God lies behind everything in life, and that God is divinely shaping us into oneness with that purpose.

A Christian is someone who trusts in the knowledge and the wisdom of God, not in his own abilities. If we have a purpose of our own, it destroys the simplicity and the calm, relaxed pace which should be characteristic of the children of God.

Old sailors know about this call, of those who have that predisposition and experience of being at home in the sea.

I’ve even heard it said that sometimes there is even a very definite and unworldly beaconing and calling that they feel, almost as with a magnet, drawing and beaconing them to come.

Well, God’s calling is much like that; but to answer it will requiring our willingness to face the unknown, and loose our long established moorings of the status quo, and the average and ordinary, in our own little harbors of safety.

Battleships are very impressive to look at and I for one love to tour them and marvel at their beauty and awesome might and power; but battleships though they may come into a harbor from time to time, the harbor is never its home. No, battleships are made for the open seas!

And so it is with us, for like those battleships, neither have we been made for the safe and ordinary; but we are constructed and destined for greatness, to be soldiers of the Most High God, and as such for us to stay in safe harbors, just rusting away in idleness, looking impressive, as no doubt we often think; but nevertheless it is a complete waste of God’s resources; and never did He intend for us to remain in shallow waters.

I like what the above devotion said about how God’s ways and means at accomplishing His purposes are so far different from ours!

Truly as it God says in the Bible: My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, ‘says the LORD.’ And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts
(Isa 55:8-9)

Yet for us to continually attempt to navigate solely by our understanding, our experience, and our limited knowledge, is to severely handicap ourselves if we desire to be fit for God’s service.

Notice in the above devotion how Mr. Chambers points out how God’s call upon Jesus Christ, at least at first glance, from this world’s perspective, and with its values, Jesus life first seemed like an absolute disaster and failure; in that Jesus ended up dying on a Cross; leaving each of His disciples with a broken heart, and an extreme sense of loss!

Truly, from this worlds standards, Christ’s death on the cross looked in every way to be an absolute failure, but not to God!!!

We must understand this by faith, that what seems to be a failure from man’s standpoint, when done in cooperation and in obedience to God, will always end up to be a huge triumph, because God’s purposes, and His ways of doing things, are always much different from that of men.

Compare that with what’s going on in your own life today, and what you are presently facing. Possibly to you, in your understanding and in all that you are presently hearing from your own committee voices (your self-talk), within your own thoughts (which is quite often where the enemy attacks us), and possibly also from those around you, among your family, friends, and coworkers, who are also seeing only from a carnal perspective, from all of these different voices you may be hearing nothing but that you are a failure!

Again at this point we must pause and remind ourselves that God’s purposes are not ours; and that His ways and means of accomplishing His purposes in our life are far different from anything we would think to do, or even imagine.

From our perspective, and with our limited understanding and foresight, it often appears as if everything is going in exactly the opposite direction, from where we need to go; and if we spend very much time listening to our committee voices, then we will soon find ourselves discouraged, depressed, and maybe even angry, as though we have been abandoned by God.

Did not Jesus also feel abandoned, as He hung on His Cross?

So too will we; and we must also recognize that we too are called to carry a cross that we are to die on. And by death I mean we die to our own understanding, and our ambitions; as we relinquish complete control of our lives and our wills to be directed by the Holy Spirit.

Until we have done that we are not where God is calling us to be, neither physically, spiritually, nor mentally… and we have in fact chosen to remain anchored in our safe harbor!

Just as we read what Mr. Chamber said in the above devotion: The call of God is like the call of the sea— no one hears it except the person who has the nature of the sea in him.”

Likewise, until we have God’s nature inside of us; until we are filled with the Holy Spirit, and are continually being refilled everyday (for we leak in this world); and until we have put on the mind of Christ (as scripture instructs every Christian to do); then we are navigating solely by our limited understanding, and our own limited knowledge, and so of course we are handicapped.

We must understand and know by faith that every trail, and every circumstance that we face in life, that each and everyone is a test, where God is watching us to see how we react; and whether we will obey His leading, or follow our flesh?

We must understand also that the things that are happening in our life, as a result of decisions and choices that we have made, have either taken us closer to God’s purpose, or have possibly delayed God’s purpose in our life; and truly not until we have completely relinquished our perceived rights to self, as the masters of our destiny, and have give that over to God, it’s not until we have done that, that we know ALL things are now being worked together for our good, according to God’s master plan for our life… because at that point God knows that we love Him and are truly submitting by faith to His call and plan for our life!

We all are looking to experience so much more; and instinctively we all know there has to be more to our life than what we have thus far experienced. The problem occurs when we are looking to fulfill our desires and our will; and not God’s!

To the extent we all do this, by nature, and even (as the Bible says) each one of us like dumb sheep, we have gone astray, as we have chosen our own way, travelling by the sparks of light that we have made, with our limited understanding, without regard to the plans and purposes of God for our lives; and to the extent we all do this, it is called SIN; and it is that sin which has separated us from our God!

The road home, to be reconciled back into God’s family, and then to be put on course for the absolute ride of a lifetime; and experience what Jesus Called an Abundant Life,” it requires that we begin to live our lives much differently from the way the world does; it requires that we begin to chart our course by the directions found in the Holy Bible, meaning that we must begin meditating upon it day and night, to know what it says; and it also means that we begin to sensitize ourselves to the presence, the voice, and the leaning of the Holy Spirit in our lives; and that we begin to walk in communion with Him moment by moment, 24/7, 365 days a year.

However, none of that can even begin to happen until we loose ourselves from our present moorings, and we launch our faith out into the deep, for it is ONLY in the deep that the Holy Spirit hangs out.

That is where all the action and excitements is; where miracles and the supernatural become everyday occurrences. Selah

It is also where we experience an Abundant life,” as we are fulfilling our destiny in cooperation with, and in union and oneness with the Spirit of God, who lives inside of every born-again child of God!

It takes a businessman’s logic, who has to be accountable to his shareholders, to point out the absolute insanity that has taken over in Washington DC, with this administration in particular; but the truth be told, this policy of deficit spending has been going on for the last 100 years.

Whatever happened to the idea that our Congress should be accountable to We the People?

Believe me, to turn this mess around, it will take a miracle of God!

Fortunately I have it on good authority, right from the Holy Bible (in 2nd Chronicles 7:14), that God will do exactly that, if all those who are called by His name (who are Christians) will humble themselves and pray; turn from their wicked ways; and seek God’s face… then God promises that He will heal our land! The importance of our becoming as little children…

The secret to life is JOY; that we learn to rejoice in the Lord always!!!

And Jesus said unto his disciples:

I tell you a truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Rejoice, this is the day that the Lord has made!

The humble have seen–they rejoice, Ye who seek God–and your heart liveth. Psalm 69:32 (YLT)

There is an important lesson here and in other places of God’s Word, namely that humility and gladness go together.

What do the humble and the joyous have in common?

They both look up. The humble are those who don’t look down on anyone. The truly humble look up all the time. They have to look up, because their eyes are on God, and He’s above them.

The joyous are always looking up as well, otherwise they wouldn’t be rejoicing. The joyous are believing the Good News, so they rejoice!

The prideful, however, are those who think they’re above everything else and so they look down on people.

The prideful are connected to the others who look down, the cynical, the doubting, the despairing, the depressed, the sorrowful and the hopeless.

In the same way that the humble and the joyous go together, so do pride and despair.

Humility leads to joy. Pride leads to despair. Let’s get our eyes off ourselves, off of our problems, off of the world around us.

Let’s fix our eyes on Him, the Redeemer of our souls. Those who look up in humility, also look up in joy!

Together, let’s fix our eyes on Him and be glad!!

One thing about children is they tell it like it is, without any guile or hidden agendas; and you know something… Jesus is exactly that same way!

We all started out there, but life has its way of molding and shaping us after this fallen and depraved world; where after having been toss about and hurt a number of times, we tend to regress and withdrawal behind facades and walls that we erect around us to protect us and to hide our vulnerability.

All of this, though it is quite natural that we would do this, it shows a complete lack of trust in God and faith in God; and it leaves any resolution God would have to our situation out of the picture.

You see, before you can begin with God, you must first be willing to humble yourself in His presence, or else He will humble you; but mind you it will not be to destroy you, but rather it will be to cause you to come to repentance.

Then the next step is to repent, which comes from a Greek word which literally means to change the way you think; not as the world thinks, and not as your circumstances and life have caused you to think; but to begin to put on the Mind of Christ.

The way you do this is by faith you begin to follow the leading and instructions of the Bible; you begin to follow God’s instructions on how to live and deal with life; and you begin a life of communion with the Holy Spirit.

Next, and this is very important, you must forgive all those who have hurt you; you must release them from any debt, or perceived obligation you may feel toward them of having them make restitution for their sins against you; or of seeing them suffer the way they possible have caused you to suffer.

In other words, you release them completely, and you give it over completely to God; forgiving them as God has forgiven you.

Forgiveness after all, in both the Hebrew and Greek, means to release and to let go; and it does not at all require the other person to in anyway acknowledge your apology, if you have sinned against them; and nor does it necessarily involve reconciliation, through of course that would be the desired goal… it just means you release it ALL, and it is no longer your burden or problem!

The Bible is very clear here, that unless you are willing to release others in this way, then you cannot be forgiven of your sins; and if God doesn’t forgive you, then you cannot be saved.

That is how important it is to release and to forgive others!

This is just something for us ALL to think about today.

A friend who is a commercial pilot told me about a flight in which he encountered a serious mechanical issue—a problem with dangerous implications. When the situation occurred, the warning lights in the cockpit informed him of the problem and he monitored it all the way to the destination, ultimately landing safely.

Once on the ground, the pilot immediately went to the maintenance staff and reported it. To his surprise, the mechanics responded, “We already know about the problem and are ready to fix it. When you got the cockpit warning, we automatically got an electronic warning as well.”

As he shared that incident, I couldn’t help but compare it to Jesus’ words about our heavenly Father: “Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him” (Matt. 6:8). He said this in contrast to people who believe that they must “use vain repetitions . . . . For they think that they will be heard for their many words” (v.7). Jesus presupposes God’s knowledge of and concern for His children.

Even though God knows our needs, He still wants us to share our hearts with Him. He stands ready to hear our prayer and to repair our brokenness by His grace.

Although God knows our every need,
His work He wants to share;
He takes us into partnership

The Bible says there is a way that seems right unto man, but that it ends in death!

It also says that the road to destruction and is wide, and many there be that take it; but the road to life is narrow, and few there be that follow it.

So what’s the difference and why is it that most people choose to follow the road to destruction, which by the way means an eternal state of separation from God?

The secret of life is having communion and relationship with your Creator; but something called SIN interfered with our relationship.

Our sins have separated us from God, is what the Bible says; and sin is that part of our human nature that asserts our own will above the will and purposes of God.

To the extent we ALL as sheep have gone astray, and have chosen our own way, and have lived our lives without regard to the will and purpose of God for our life, the Bible says we are outside of relationship with God, and are estranged from Him; meaning also that we have been barred from His Kingdom.

This thing called sin is as a disease that will keep us out of Heaven, and the only cure for that disease is provided in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His atonement for mankind provided for us on Calvary’s Cross.

Most people are aware that there is more to life and are instinctively pursuing various avenues of fulfillment, howbeit most of those avenues that are sought deal only with the satisfaction of the flesh, having to do with the pride of life, the lust of the eyes and the carnal nature of man; but since we are created in the image and likeness of God, who is Himself a Spirit, in order for us to have communion with Him, and for us to experience life abundantly (as we were intended to do) Jesus said that we must do so in Spirit and in truth.

How do we go about entering into this communion with God; and how do we make the decision to follow the narrow road?

The answer is quite simply you must deny yourself. In other words, we must deny our natural impulses, including our reasoning and our own understanding, and we must begin to allow ourselves to be reprogrammed by the Holy Spirit; allowing Him to rewrite the flawed and virus (sin) ridden programming of the world.

In other words we must let go of something we each by nature have learned to cling to and to worship, and are born into this world demanding that that it be first, and that is own our flesh; and we must turn away and deny all that is associated with our connection to this fallen world system that has refused to submit to its creator, and has instead chosen to idolize and to worship the creation and created things, rather than the one true God!

For those of you who have submitted to this process, and are Born-again, we all have relatives, friends, loved ones, and neighbors who have yet to come to this realization; and the ONLY cure and way to reach these people, I believe personally, is to do the same thing that someone did for us, in order for us to finally see the light… and that is to intercede and to pray for them. There is no other way!

The carnal nature of the world, and the forces of evil that are made available and are provided in the world in order to allure and to deceive are very powerful indeed; but all that the world has to offer doesn’t hold a candle to what God has provided us in Jesus Christ our Lord.

But for us to experience this New Life for ourselves, we must first be willing to forsake the world; die to our self, meaning to our will, our ambitions and our desires; and we must freely relinquish the reins of our life to the one who authored and created us, the one who is our Creator and God, who is Jesus Christ! Selah

In conclusion I will just leave you with the words of Jesus, and leave you with the decision of which of the two paths in life will you take… the one that leads to Life, or the one that leads to eternal separation from God?

  • For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (Mat 16:25)
  • “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”
    (Luke 6:46)
  • Jesus said: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
    (John 14:15)

One thing you must not let escape your attention from today’s lesson and that is this one important fact, that your life is a gift from God; but it is includes a maze of different paths, and each path will require a decision and choice for you to make, where we exercise our free will to choose.

Either we are following the lead of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, denying our self and our understanding; or we are following our path according to our understanding, and our perception; but understand this folks, there is a day of reckoning coming, when we each will have to give an account for our life, and what we have done with Jesus Christ.

For those who are born-again, who have relinquished their rights to self and have freely given there will over to serve Jesus, their sins are covered and forgiven; but for all others, for everyone who has refused to accept God’s only door to forgiveness and reconciliation, who have instead chosen to hang on to their anger, unforgiveness and resentment, who have refused to let go and let God, for those people they each will be without a Saviour and will have to answer for their own sins.

This is not my opinion, but this is what the Bible clearly says; and so that is why it is so very important that every person avail him or herself of whatever time they have left in this world, starting today in this moment, to consider this man Christ Jesus, for to ignore Him has dire consequences.

So listen up, if you are not happy with the direction your life is going, then might I suggest the reason is you are going against the flow of God’s Spirit for your life.

Change directions and start by repenting, meaning literally to change the way you think; and begin this day and every day, let go of your anger and resentment against ALL those who have wronged you; lest as the Bible warns we give a foothold to the Devil in our lives.

Instead make Jesus Lord and master of your life; be his conduit and distributors of Agape (love) to this lost world; and don’t you dare leave home without Him!!! Selah

C.S. Lewis in his book Mere Christianity writes the following: “I am trying here to prevent anyone from saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him [Jesus Christ]: ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with a man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that option open to us. He did not intend to.”

So, who did Jesus claim to be? Who does the Bible say He is? First, let’s look at Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement, “‘We are not stoning you for any of these,’ replied the Jews, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God’” (John 10:33). The Jews understood Jesus’ statement as a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, “I did not claim to be God.” That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). John 8:58 is another example: “‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’” Again, in response, the Jews took up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Jesus’ announcing His identity as “I am” is a direct application of the Old Testament name for God (Exodus 3:14). Why would the Jews again want to stone Jesus if He had not said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God?

John 1:1 says “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says “the Word became flesh.” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Thomas the disciple declared to Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. The apostle Paul describes Him as, “…our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). The apostle Peter says the same, “…our God and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:1). God the Father is witness of Jesus’ full identity as well, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” Old Testament prophecies of Christ announce His deity, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

So, as C.S. Lewis argued, believing Jesus to be only a good teacher is not an option. Jesus clearly and undeniably claimed to be God. If He is not God, then He is a liar, and therefore not a prophet, good teacher, or godly man. In attempts to explain away the words of Jesus, modern “scholars” claim the “true historical Jesus” did not say many of the things the Bible attributes to Him. Who are we to argue with God’s Word concerning what Jesus did or did not say? How can a “scholar” two thousand years removed from Jesus have better insight into what Jesus did or did not say than those who lived with, served with, and were taught by Jesus Himself (John 14:26)?

Why is the question over Jesus’ true identity so important? Why does it matter whether or not Jesus is God? The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus’ deity is why He is the only way of salvation. Jesus’ deity is why He proclaimed, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Understand also that it matters not what your past is, or how bad and/or how reckless you may have lived your life. On that score we are all in the same boat and are equally lost without a Saviour; and unless we make our peace with God within the allotted time, which by the way gets narrower and narrower for each of us with each passing day; and mind you tomorrow is promised to no man; and unless we make our peace with God before we pass from this life then we are destined for an eternity without God, and that is the worst kind of hell I can imagine!

The question is does America care?

Paul Revere and the Son’s of Liberty movement was to a great extent supported by the clergy in the colonies; and the movement was born in the parking lots of many colonial churches… but that is not so today.

In our present political and economic environment, with all the rhetoric and misinformation we are getting through our “managed” media; people today are just too preoccupied with fighting their own problems, just to survive, than to care about anything else; and what American needs to understand is that this is all by design; and is a part of a very well thought out master plan.

So the point is, if you are busy fighting alligators in your own swamp, then chances are you don’t have much time to do anything else; but folks don’t you understand that all of this is to keep your attention preoccupied?

The truth is that diabolical and infamous enemy of mankind, known as the Devil (aka: Lucifer or Satan) that he has planned it to be this way?

There are so many pastors today who are so busy building their own little empires, and in the process they don’t want to jeopardize their 501(c)(3) status; and besides they have bought this idea hook, line and sinker about separation of church and state!

Well folks, I can tell you this, that was definitely NOT the attitude of our founding fathers, not at all; for had it been this country would never have been formed.

So what is the solution; and how do we wake our citizens up, and get them concerned enough to care about what’s going on; and to get their proverbial heads out of the sand?

The answer truly is, I don’t think we can; and truly I believe it will take a sovereign act of God to do that!

Not only that, but very possibly it may take some cataclysmic event or disaster to wake most of America up; as human nature and history both seem to indicate that people generally don’t want to take the initiative and won’t do so, unless their uncomfort level rises to the point, where they are driven to take action.

That is by the way what happened on 9/11, as one example, if only for a hot minute people; where for a time anyway people cared more than just for themselves, as they reached out to seek God, and reached out to help their neighbor.

We live in a society today that is very “Me” oriented and self-centered; even as we are warned in the Bible that it would be in the days just before Jesus Christ returns.

Perilous Times and Perilous Men

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Added to this self destructive nature of man, there is also this tendency of societies to repeat history, which is owed to the typical myopic and narrow sighted tendency of its people; as was recorded years ago; where it was noted that all democracies in history eventually go through the same stages, or cycles.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government.  It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess (gifts) from the public treasury.

“From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising them the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.  These nations have progressed through this sequence:

“From bondage to spiritual faith;
from spiritual faith to great courage;
from courage to liberty;
from liberty to abundance;
from abundance to selfishness;
from selfishness to apathy;
from apathy to dependence;
from dependency back again into bondage.”

Dr. Alexander Tytler, a Scot professor, wrote a scholarly tome, from which this concept comes, called “The Athenian Republic” which was published shortly before the thirteen American colonies gained independence from Britain.

And so it seems that people, having been blessed by God, they eventually stop looking to God as their Source, and they start looking instead to man and to big government to take care of them.

Just look around you people, is this not what we see happening today?

Socialism and government taking over private industry, as Obama is doing today, spreading the wealth around as he calls it, has always been a prelude to a totalitarian take over.

It happened in Lenin’s Russia; in Hitler’s Germany; in Mao Tse-tung’s China; and today it is happening here in the United States!

As an example of what I’m talking about, here are 26 similarities that existed in pre-Nazi Germany that are today happening here in the United States:

  1. Hitler outlawed school prayer in Germany. In 1962, The U.S. Supreme Court did the same for us.
  2. Hitler eliminated Christian holidays in the schools first by calling Christmas “Yuletide.” Most American public schools now call Christmas vacation a “winter break.”
  3. Hitler took Easter out of schools and instead honored that time of year as the beginning of spring. It has likewise become common for schools in America to refer to time off at Easter as “spring break.”
  4. Hitler controlled the church using intimidation and threats. A half-century ago, U.S. Senator and Senate Majority Leader Lyndon Baines Johnson, promoted a bill that included an amendment to use the Internal Revenue Service to remove the non-profit status of a church that speaks against the election of any specific political candidate.
  5. Hitler enticed thousands of pastors to promote paganism in their congregations. Neopaganism is one of the fastest growing religions in America, doubling every 18 months according to a June 2008 article in The Denver Post.  Many American church-goers practice paganism such as “Christian” yoga, and walking a labyrinth. As evidence that church doors continue to open further to aberrant beliefs, a 2008 survey found that 57% of evangelicals do not believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
  6. Hitler was an environmentalist and vegetarian. Marriages performed by the Nazi state frequently included blessings of “Mother Earth” and “Father Sky.” Today Americans increasingly accept radical environmentalism, pantheism, and the celebration of Earth Day.
  7. Hitler was fascinated by eastern mysticism. Today an increasing number of American pastors encourage their followers to become “mystic warriors”.
  8. Hitler believed in reincarnation. He even convinced SS officers that by murdering millions of Jews and other “undesirables” they were allowing them to get on with the reincarnation process and come back more quickly in an advanced status. Americans increasingly accept the idea of reincarnation as well as good and bad karma.
  9. Hitler’s holocaust killed between 8 and 11 million Jews and non-Jews. Americans have killed an estimated 50 million babies since abortion was legalized through the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973. According to a July 7, 2008 article on worldnetdaily.com “An abortionist who claims to have destroyed more than 20,000 unborn children and who once was Hillary Clinton’s OB-GYN says he is doing ‘God’s work’ when he terminates a pregnancy…He admits that abortion kills a human soul.”
  10. Hitler killed 270,000 handicapped people through active euthanasia.[1] America and the courts are rushing toward the same with the murder of individuals such as Terri Schiavo. Oregon voters passed their Death with Dignity Act in 1994 and re-affirmed it in 1997. Washington state voters legalized doctor-assisted suicide on November 4, 2008. In December 2008, a Montana judge ruled terminally ill residents of that state have the right to physician-assisted suicide, and “death with dignity” is gaining acceptance in other states as well.
  11. Private schools were abolished by Hitler and all education placed under Nazi control. There is constant pressure from federal and many state education authorities to require that Christian schools use state-mandated, humanistic textbooks. The Home School Legal Defense Association is fighting numerous battles at any given time to prevent parents from loosing the right to educate their children as they see fit. In August 2008, a federal district court ruled that the state of California university system may choose not to recognize the diplomas-and thereby deny college entrance to-students who attended a school using textbooks that express a Biblical worldview in the areas of history and science (i.e., Christian schools).
  12. Hitler prevented dissenters from using radio to challenge his worldview. Many powerful liberals in America have made clear their intent to reintroduce the “Fairness Doctrine” that would require conservative and religious radio stations to offer equal time to anti-Christian, anti-conservative worldviews.
  13. Pastors who spoke against Hitler’s worldview and his murderous regime found themselves on trial and frequently imprisoned for “Abuse of Pulpit.” In America, hate-crime legislation has the potential to criminalize Christians and pastors who speak out against the homosexual agenda.
  14. Many Christians in Germany justified their allegiance to Hitler through a belief that “Their duty to God was spiritual; their duty to the state was political.”[2] Many American Christians now have bought the lie that their worldview can be divided between the secular and the sacred-the politician has one area of responsibility, the pastor another, and never shall the two meet. Yet the Bible teaches that all issues are fundamentally spiritual.
  15. Hitler outlawed the cross and replaced it with the swastika. Today many churches, Christian colleges, and universities have willingly removed the cross from their buildings. Numerous court cases sponsored by the ACLU have required the removal of the cross from public grounds. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2005 that the Ten Commandments cannot be posted on public grounds for religious purposes.
  16. Hitler was fascinated with Friedrich Nietzsche and distributed his writings to his inner circle. Nietzsche promoted Nihilism, the belief that life has no meaning, and he is best known for his position that “God is dead”. Nietzsche is presently one of the most widely read authors by American college students.
  17. Hitler exploited the economic collapse of Germany to take over as dictator and usher in his brand of socialism. America’s financial crisis has given liberals in both political parties the opportunity to grow the size of government and implement freedom-robbing socialism at lightning speed.
  18. Hitler was obsessed with globalism, and many of America’s most powerful political leaders are willing to subjugate American sovereignty to contemporary globalism.
  19. Many Germans responded to Hitler by retreating into neutrality. Today most Americans prefer to remain neutral on moral issues that they think don’t affect them personally.
  20. On trial after World War II, Hitler’s henchmen used the defense that they had not broken any laws. True, they had not defied the laws of Germany since those had been re-written to fit the goals and objectives of Hitler. The Nazi leaders were nevertheless found guilty because the courts at the time recognized a “law above the law.” Yet now the U.S. Supreme Court has rejected the law of nature and nature’s God by claiming that as society evolves, morals evolve, and so the law, too, must evolve.
  21. Calling upon Darwinian evolution, Hitler convinced the German people that purging millions of people was acceptable because of the need to create a pure race; also referred to as eugenics. American students across the board have been educated in Darwinian evolution because the Supreme Court has ruled that creation cannot be taught in our schools-even if both creation and evolution are taught side by side.
  22. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood in America became acquainted with the doctors and scientists that had worked with Nazi Germany’s eugenics program and had no quarrel with the euthanasia, sterilization, abortion, and infanticide programs of the early Reich.[3] Sanger even published several articles in Birth Control Review that reflected Hilter’s White Supremacist worldview. Planned Parenthood now grosses one billion per year.
  23. In Germany, pastors often cited Romans 13:1-2 to encourage Christians to obey the Nazis. Today in America, many pastors have a false view of Romans 13:1-2 and have convinced millions that to disobey governing authorities is to disobey God. This poor training would facilitate Christians here doing just as the German Christians did if faced with similar challenges.
  24. Germans accepted socialism to avoid pain. Today’s Americans are rejecting capitalism in exchange for government-sponsored “free” healthcare, education, and countless other government handouts.
  25. Many Americans accept what I call, One World Spirituality. This is actually an amalgamation of the three worldviews of evolutionary humanism, Hindu pantheism, and occultism. I noted earlier that Hitler embraced all of these.
  26. America is rushing toward government-sponsored, national healthcare. We already have a form of this in Medicare and Medicaid. Hitler, too, expanded and centralized Germany’s healthcare system. As Melchior Palyi explained, “The ill-famed Dr. Ley, boss of the Nazi labor front, did not fail to see that the social insurance system could be used for Nazi politics as a means of popular demagoguery, as a bastion of bureaucratic power, [and] as an instrument of regimentation.”

Another point, if you have ever wondered about how come our news is so one sided and biased, take it from one who used to have a job answering the phones inside the control room of ABC news, where I saw firsthand how the producers are very closely monitoring the other networks; and it is true that the news that we are allowed to see is all strictly censored and managed by the people who hold the purse strings of these networks and who own them; to the point that every bit of news today, that we are allowed to see is filtered through a globalist agenda.

It is a lot like professional wrestling, in that it is all for show and entertainment; to keep the masses preoccupied, and their attention directed away from what is truly going on.

Again this is all by design and it has been that way for a long time, going all the way back to 1917:


Let me call your attention now to a prophecy and vision that was once given to our first President, George Washington:

GEORGE WASHINGTON’S PROPHESY OF AMERICA

The father of our country, George Washington, was a man of prayer. We have all read of how he went to the thicket many times to pray during the winter his army was at Valley Forge. However, little publicity has been given to the vision and prophecy he received at that time. The account of this vision was given in 1859 by an old soldier. He gave it to a writer, Wesley Bradshaw, who published it. In the vision God revealed to George Washington that three great perils would come upon the Republic.

THIRD AND MOST FEARFUL PERIL
“Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene. From each of these continents arose thick black clouds that were soon joined into one. And throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men. These men, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and ~ the villages, towns and cities which I had seen springing up.” “As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of the swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I again heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn.” Where the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast.”

HEAVEN INTERVENES
“Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shown the word UNION, and who bore our national flag in one hand, and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by, legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were well-nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle.” “Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict I heard the mysterious voice saying, ‘Son of the Republic, look and learn.’ As the voice ceased the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious.”

“Then once more, I beheld the villages, towns and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with the loud voice: “While the stars remain, and the heaven send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the UNION last.” And taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word ‘UNION,’ he placed it upon the Standard while the people, kneeling down, said ‘Amen.”

THE INTERPRETATION
The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve, and I, at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappeared, and I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who, in the same voice I had heard before, said, ‘Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted; three great perils will come upon the Republic.

The most fearful for her is the third. But the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land, and UNION” With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown me the birth, the progress, and the destiny of the United States.'”

‘Such, my friends,” the venerable narrator concluded, were the words I heard from Washington’s own lips, and America will do well to profit by them.”

So the question is, is history repeating itself here in America?

Certainly from all the available evidence I’d have to say yes it is; and so is what George Washington predicted going to be in our future?

Will we lose our sovereignty for a time; and will we have enemy combat soldiers on our soil?

God has often in the past used the enemies of Israel to wake them up, and to drive them to repentance; and why would we think it would be any different for us?

As it is now, just as I look around, I have to say that American right now cares only about our sinking economy and inflation, more than anything else; and at the promise that a president can start pouring an unending supply of money into the economy, in order to stimulate it and revive it, as Obama says he is doing; money by the way that we do not have; that is only being produced as “Fiat Money” meaning it has no intrinsic value, and so therefore it does nothing but drives up inflation and the cost of living.

My point is this, as I just pointed out before, this same scenario has been used before in history, and here we are falling for it again!

Truly a spiritual awakening and revival is the ONLY thing that will change our country, and put us back on the right track; and to that end Christians need to both watch and pray!

Learning to manage Chaos in the midst of this storm called Life…

Life is about learning to maintain God’s Shalom (peace) in the midst of Chaos…

It’s about learning what our anchor is in the midst of confusion… and the absolute importance of keeping our focus on Jesus!

It also necessitates our learning through our life’s experiences to trust God and to obey His instructions with ALL our heart, and NOT leaning on our own understanding!

Else we sink!

Do you believe?

Greater is HE who is in us than he who is in the world!

Strong words if we believe them . . . true words if we know Him.

Meaning takes hold only when we know that He is in us; and His presence is the power of God to change us. The accuser may whisper, cast countless doubts and lead us down blind alleys, but if we know that we are in Christ and He is in us, then hope lives in our hearts.

Come to me, Jesus said, and I will give you . . . rest . . . peace . . . forgiveness . . . living water to drink . . . living bread to eat.

Let’s run to Jesus – whatever our situation may be today – and find true hope. We are filled with hope because He is greater and He is in us.

There is just no easy way for us to learn to die and to let go of our will, our ambitions, and our desires; and relinquish all to God; and therein is the challenge that we all must sooner of later face in life!

This is the only way we can learn of the trustworthiness of God, and His total and complete influence and control over every detail of our life.

We can see ample examples of this in God’s word, as we study the examples of how God worked in the lives of others; but our applying these principals in the middle of our real life situations is quite another thing.

The story comes to mind of the man climbing this mountain, without ropes, but only using his hands and a bag of resin. It is called Rock Climbing and it is a very strenuous and demanding sport.

As it happened this guy slipped and having crabbed at the last minute on to a branch that was protruding from the rock, he found himself literally hanging between life and death; and he yelled out at the top of his voice… “Is there anyone up there?”

God answered:

“Yes, I’m here!”

“Can you help me?”
the man yelled…

God says: “Yes”

“What must I do?”
says the man.

To which God says: “Let go!”

The man then says: “Is there anyone else up there?”

Does this scenario sound anything similar to anything you are facing in life today, or have had to face in the past?

If not, rest assured that you will have your opportunity to see exactly what your foundation in life happens to be, whether in Jesus Christ, and total reliance upon His Word, to obey; or you will revert to other resources, and/or people; and you will look to your flesh.

This is inevitable for all of us, and besides God has promised us in His Word that this would happen.

Hebrews 12:25-29 (The Message)

25-27So don’t turn a deaf ear to these gracious words. If those who ignored earthly warnings didn’t get away with it, what will happen to us if we turn our backs on heavenly warnings?

His voice that time shook the earth to its foundations; this time—he’s told us this quite plainly—he’ll also rock the heavens: “One last shaking, from top to bottom, stem to stern.” The phrase “one last shaking” means a thorough housecleaning, getting rid of all the historical and religious junk so that the unshakable essentials stand clear and uncluttered.

28-29Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be?

Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander.

He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire!

We must understand this that our lives are a setup, and even though we think all that is going on is dumb luck and happenstance, the Bible teaches differently.

For every Born-again child of God, who has decided to live in covenant relationship with God, what we are going through right now, and what we will experience tomorrow, and all our yesterday experiences and trials, all of it is for one reason, and that is to test us, to build us up; and to train us for God’s service, and for eternity.

Whether you know it or not, when you were born-again you gave God permission to impact your life; and to put you to the test; and as the saying goes… “No pain, no gain!”

We each have two choices when faced with problems and life situations… we can follow our understanding and revert to our way of doing things; OR we can follow God, and put our complete and absolute faith and trust in the trustworthiness of His Word!

The only problem is we don’t know that He can be trusted, and that He will support us, until we let go; and so we are all in the situation where along with the guy in the above story, God is saying to us: “Let Go,” and we are somewhere in between, and either we are willing to let go; or we are looking for other alternatives… and therein is the test.

Waiting on God’s timing… though He often comes at the last minute, He’s never late!!!

after having done all we know to do, can we, will we wait on God?

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Below is another blow by blow devotional from the pages of the Bible, sparks from the anvil of life, if you will.

This one comes from David Wilkerson, as he describes an incident where King Saul blew it, as he was facing real pressured and had a choice, either to do as God said, or to take action on his own, without God’s leave nor allowance, in direct disobedience to what God had specifically told him to do.

Does this sound familiar? Are you now, or have you in the past been faced with an eleventh hour situation, where time and hope were running thin? If so, what do you do?

Do you take action, any action, thinking something is better than nothing, or do you wait on God, after having done ALL you know to do?

Folks, this is setup, it’s a TEST… it’s a part of God’s emergency 911 faith in action while under pressure evaluation — where we get to find out if we have the wherewithal and guts to put our actions where our mouth is, and to wait and hang our life, our body, and our circumstances, not on what we see or feel, but totally on the promises of His Word?

There is no easy way to get through this test, except to die to yourself, and relinquish your ALL into God’s keeping and into His hands… and really that is the whole point of the test! You have to die completely to yourself!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been there, done that, and even having the T-shirt to prove it!

We see in 1 Samuel 13 that Saul faced a crucial moment that every believer must eventually confront. It is a time of crisis when we’re forced to decide whether we’ll wait on God by faith, or get impatient and take matters into our own hands.

Saul’s pivotal moment came when ominous clouds of war were gathering over Israel. The Philistines had amassed a huge army of horsemen, iron chariots and legions of soldiers brandishing the latest weapons.

By contrast, the Israelites had only two swords in their entire army—one for Saul and one for his son, Jonathan. Everyone else had to use makeshift weapons, such as wooden spears or crude farm tools.

A week earlier Samuel had warned Saul to wait for him at Gilgal before going into battle. The prophet had said he would arrive after seven days to make the proper sacrifices to the Lord.

When the seventh day came and Samuel hadn’t arrived, Saul’s soldiers began to scatter. Worse, the king didn’t have God’s direction for battle.

What approach did Saul take? Did he stand firm, declaring, “I don’t care if it takes Samuel eight days to arrive, I’m going to stand on God’s Word to me. Live or die, I will obey his command”?

No—Saul panicked. He allowed himself to be overwhelmed by his circumstances. And he ended up manipulating his way around God’s Word.

He ordered the priest who was present to make the sacrifices without Samuel and in so doing committed a grievous sin against the Lord (see 1 Samuel 13:11–12).

No—God is never too late. All along, the Lord knew each step Samuel was taking toward Gilgal. He had set the prophet on a heavenly navigation system, pinpointing his arrival to the very second. Samuel would be there by day seven, even if it was one minute before midnight.

God has not changed throughout the ages. And he is still concerned with whether his people obey this command: “Obey the voice of the Lord, and [do not] rebel against the commandment of the Lord” (1 Samuel 12:15, paraphrased).

It doesn’t matter if our lives are spinning out of control—we are to walk in total confidence in the Lord.

Even if things look hopeless, we are not to act in fear. Rather, we are to wait patiently on him to deliver us, as his Word promises.

The fact is, God stood right beside Saul as the massive Philistine army pressed in.

He knew the crisis Saul was in and his eye was on every detail.

Our God sees every detail of your crisis. He sees all the life-problems pressing in on you. And he’s fully aware your situation is getting worse daily.

Those who pray and wait on him with calm faith are never in any real danger. Moreover, he knows all your panicky thoughts: “I don’t see how I can ever repay this debt…I don’t have any hope for my marriage…I don’t know how I can keep my job….” Yet his command to you still holds true: “Don’t panic or get ahead of me.

You are to do nothing but pray—and rely on me. I honor everyone who puts his trust in me.”

Consider these words God has given to his church:

  • “Without faith it is impossible to please him” (Hebrews 11:6).
  • “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:8).
  • “Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield” (Psalm 115:11).
  • “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
  • In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6).

Unbelief is deadly, its consequences tragic. And we face dire consequences if we try to extricate ourselves from our trials instead of trusting God to see us through them.
