When God speaks, are we listening?
There is ONLY one way this works…
Below is a message from My Utmost, for His Highest, where Oswald Chambers explains how God will use us, if we are willing to die to our self, and commit all to Him.
The fact is, we can see this pattern all throughout scripture; that when God does something, or is requiring us to do something for Him, it comes at a great inconvenience, and it interrupts what we are doing.
Such as happened with Moses on the day He placed a calling upon him, and assigned him the mission to be His spokesman, to go and deliver the children of Israel from their Egyptian bondage.
As we examine the events of that day, we notice that all of this happened in the normal course of his daily activities, while he was at work.
Not only that, but we will also notice that it happened and came at him most inadvertently, at a 90% angle to what was involved with, at the moment, and what was going on at the time.
In other words, it was something that could have very easily been overlooked, or missed completely.
It was after all Moses’ curiosity and inquisitiveness that drew him to investigate this unusual phenomena of this burning bush that wasn’t being consumed; but his attitude and response could have just as well been to just ignore it; saying I don’t have the time for such things… because he was too busy doing his thing.
The same is true today with us; just as it was in the case with Moses.
God likewise will often approach us at 90% angles to, from what we are doing and are involved with… and often He will do so in ways that are most unexpected, but nevertheless ordinary and familiar.
Often, for us to do what we are being told, it will require our interrupting our schedule, and going in a completely different direction; that is both inconvenient and out of our way. Selah
The question is, and the test for all of us, is how much have we surrendered our lives and also our daily activities to God; and have we truly made God the Lord of even our Day-Timer?
I think we all have pretty much had the experience of going about our daily activities, and feeling this tug on our hearts, that comes completely from out of left field, nudging us to go and speak to someone, or to do something… that would take us completely out of our way, and cost us time that we don’t feel we can spare.
Could this be God testing us, and giving us the opportunity to experience a miracle, and to be used?
Let me relay to you the following story:

“A GALLON OF MILK” As it happened, this guy had just attended the Wednesday night Bible Study at his church, where his Pastor had been teaching on the subject of listening to God, and obeying His voice. The message really inspired him, and he couldn’t help but wonder, “Does God still speak today to people, like He did in the Bible?” After the service he went out with some of his friends for coffee and pie; and they were all discussing the message. As it happened, there were several in the group who talked about how God had led them in different ways, and how he had spoken to them, and used them. Well, It was already past ten o’clock and it was getting late, and so the man left his friends and started for home. While sitting in his car, he just said a prayer, and said: “God… If you do still speak to people like that, like I read in the Bible, would you please speak to me. I promise that I will listen, and I will do my best to obey.” As he drove down the main street of his town, towards home, he had the strangest thought come to his mind, out of nowhere: “Stop and buy a gallon of milk.” He shook his head and said out loud, “God, is that You?” He didn’t need any milk, and nor did he want any; and so he let the thought pass, as he continued home; but again, the same thought came again, more persistent this time… “Buy a gallon of milk!” Not wanting to miss out, after just committing himself to obey, should God decide to speak to him, he said: “Okay, God, in case this is you, speaking to me, I will go ahead and buy the milk.” After all, it didn’t seem like too hard of a test of obedience; and besides, he could always use the milk himself. So he turn around and went out of his way, and stopped at a local convenience store. So he purchased a gallon of milk and then started off on his way home again. As he passed Seventh Street, he again felt this nudging in his heart: “Turn down that street.” But he thought to himself, “This is crazy,” as he drove past the intersection. Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street, and he couldn’t get the thought out of his mind! He had every reason NOT to do it, as It was getting very late, and he knew that he had to get up early in the morning; and besides, this little detour would be taking him completely in the wrong direction. Remembering his promise to God, however, he turned around at the next intersection, and headed back to Seventh Street… and in a half jokingly manner (feeling a little silly about all of this), he said out loud, “Okay, God, I will do it!” So he continued several blocks down Seventh Street, when suddenly, he felt an urge to turn down this one street and stop. He pulled over to the curb and looked around, wondering what was going to happen next? Here he was on this cul-de-sac street, in a semi-commercial area of town; and although it wasn’t the worst of areas, he nevertheless felt very uncomfortable, especially with it being so late. It was now already close to midnight, and of course all the businesses had long ago closed; and from the looks of things, most of the houses looked dark, like the people had already gone to bed. He was feeling most uncomfortable, but nevertheless that nudging was still there, in his heart. Then there arose this still small voice, from inside saying: “I want you to go and give the milk to the people in the house across the street.” This was so weird, and he said: “Is that you God?” Now mind you, it felt like all of these thoughts were his own thoughts; but they were coming at 90% angles… and certainly these were not things that he would have thought to do, himself. Anyway, he looked at this one house, that God seemed to be highlighting; and it was all dark, with no lights on; and it certainly appeared as if the people had already gone to bed. Feeling totally ill at ease and shaking in his boots, he was about to open the door of his car, when he sat back in his seat and said: “Lord, this is insane! Those people are obviously asleep and if I wake them up, they are going to be very mad at me, and I will look like a complete idiot!” “Okay God, if this is you, I will go to the house and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something; but if they don’t answer right away, I’m out of here!” He could hear some noises inside, and finally he heard a man’s voice yell, “Who is it? What do you want?” Then the door opened, before he could get away; and there was this man standing there, before him, in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he had just gotten out of bed; and he had this strange look on his face, and certainly he didn’t seem too happy to have this stranger standing on his doorstep, waking him up. “What is it?” He asked. The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, “Here, I brought this for you.” The man didn’t say a word, but took the milk and rushed down a hallway, speaking loudly in Spanish. Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen. The man was following her closely, holding a baby; and the baby was crying. The man then came back to the door, with tears streaming down his face. He then began speaking and half crying, he told the stranger: “We had just prayed, when we heard your knock on the door. We had some large bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn’t have any milk for our baby; and my wife had just prayed for God to send an angle with some milk for our baby.” The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had with him, and put it in the man’s hand. He then turned and walked back to his car, with tears rolling down his cheeks. Well he certainly got his answer, that God truly does speak today; and even with all the uncertainty and the fear that he had felt, he knew that it was ALL well worth it. The fact is, he couldn’t have experienced this miracle any other way… without his willingness to first look like a fool; surrendering his will, dying to self, and committing all of his fears to God. A Tribute to
David “Pop” Winans
(April 20, 1934 – April 8, 2009)
| David ‘Pop’ Winans was born on April 20, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised in the Mack Avenue (COGIC) where his grandfather Isaiah Winans was the pastor. At the age of 18, Winans began singing with the Nobelaires quartet group. A saxophonist and clarinet player, he later joined the Lemon Gospel Chorus in 1950. There he met his future wife Delores Ransom, who sang in the ensemble.After their 1953 marriage, Winans juggled multiple jobs (car salesman, taxi driver, custodian and barber) to take care of the ten children the couple would eventually have.Aside from his various entrepreneurial activities, Winans began to preach sermons in the late 1960s and was very active in his community. He started a youth organization in 1968. “We had 300 kids, ten little league baseball teams, a track team, arts and crafts. We were trying to do everything we could to help the youth,” he said in 1999. Winans is survived by wife, Delores, multi-Grammy award winning children: The Winans (Marvin, Carvin, Michael & Ronald who passed in June 2005 at age of 48); BeBe & CeCe, Daniel , Angie, Debbie, and eldest son David Winans II, and 23 grandchildren. |

David “Pop” Winans is a legend in Christian Gospel Music!
Even though life for me started at a very early age, in Chicago, nevertheless I was raised in Detroit, Michigan; but I didn’t hear about the Winans’ family until after I had moved to California, where I met Jesus and was saved.
All I know is from the first time I heard of the Winans family I have always loved their music, and in particular I have always loved to hear Pop Winans sing.
He was certainly the patriarch of his family, and what a talented and musical family he has.
Pop Winans could certainly get down, and he knew how to sing a song!
Certainly, it is plain to see where the family talent comes from, in both David and his beautiful wife of 55 years, Delores… affectionately called “Mom and Pop Winans.”
Finally, I’d like to leave you with this last video recording that was recorded of Pop Winans, with a few words of wisdom for all of us:

There is a devotion below, from My Utmost, for His Highest, that deals with God’s ultimate plan and purpose for His creation; and for the sons and daughters of Adam; and to the extent we have failed to do this, and teach this to our children, our nation has suffered, and is today on the verge of collapse, from the inside out.
The question often arises in life, “What am I here for; and what is the purpose for my life?
For many the question is asked, “Is there any reason or purpose, or is it all just an accident of nature,” as our kids are being taught in school today, that it is?
I’ve often thought what a stretch of the imagination it is to even think that all of this, that we can see in creation, was the result of happenstance, without considering the only real choice there is, that we are created by an all knowing, all powerful, and all intelligent God!
All we have to do is look in the most powerful of telescopes and we see nothing but an endless expanse of order and sheer beauty; and if you turn around and focus inward, and look through the most powerful microscope, you see even more of the same, in endless order and endless beauty, none of which even makes sense to the natural mind, that all of this could have come about without an all intelligent, all powerful, and all knowing God!
To say that all of this, that we see in creation, happened by happenstance, just by chance, as some kind of freak accident of nature, would be like saying a tornado blew through a junkyard, and produced a 747 Jetliner on the other side!
How foolish does that sound; and yet that is what we are teaching our children today, in our public schools, colleges, and Universities!
As for me, I’d sooner believe that the tornado happened, to produce a 747 Jetliner, than to believe all of life and creation happen like that, by pure chance and coincidence!
Yet that is the wisdom of man, as is exhibited today in much of modern day science; and is even being taught as fact in our text books, that are used to teach our children in our public schools, colleges, and universities… and all it the result of a secular humanistic culture and society that has been built upon a lie; that denies the existence of God!
In fact, if there is any one message that is taught in our public school system today, all across our land, it is that God is absolutely irrelevant to anything that is of any importance, or consequence in your life!
So really, is it any wonder that our nation is in the condition it is in; where we have men and women in position of leadership, in both corporate and political capacities, all across our land, at every level, who have had absolutely no biblical education or training whatsoever, and what’s worse they have been conditioned since earliest childhood to despise and to disrespect not only the Bible, but Christianity in general.. and so is there any wonder that our nation today is going to hell in a hand basket?
So naturally the question arises, for a nation that was begun back in the 18th century, and was founded officially in 1776, which was the year our nation was first born; how is it that we have degenerated to this?
Especially when you consider that the whole structure and organization, in the formation of our Constitutional Republic, the layout of our government, and the writing of our U.S. Constitution, all of these things were designed and formed literally based on our forefather’s faith and belief in the Holy Bible, and in the God of the Bible; and so with that history and that heritage behind us, how is it that today all of this history is banned in our public schools; and any teaching about God to our children is considered illegal… and folks it has been that way ever since 1963?
As we look around ourselves today, and as we see all that is wrong with our culture, our society, our government, and even our world… the question arises for many of us… how did we get here?
Well, at least here in the U.S., to answer that question, I think we have to go back to 1963.
Now I’m sure things began to unwind and change for the worse long before that; but that is the year that one woman, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, took it upon herself to file a lawsuit against the Baltimore School System, which voted in her favor 8-1 to ban school prayer and label it “unconstitutional;” and even though not all prayer was immediately banned from schools at that time, through a process of time, almost ALL school prayer is banned today, in public schools.
My question is, where was the church all during this time, and how is it they just sat by idly, and let this happen?
Just look at what has happened since, as the result of that one decision, that was initiated by one woman:
| What Happened When the Praying Stopped? ALEDO, TX (FR) – How did the removal of voluntary prayer from the schools of the United States affect our nation as a whole? That question has been answered in detail by a research company in Texas which has gathered and tabulated statistics from hundreds of sources relating to the rates of moral decline in America. Specialty Research Associates, under the direction of David Barton, has released a report entitled America: To Pray or Not to Pray which uses over 100 pages of graphs and statistical analysis to prove that crime, venereal disease, premarital sex, illiteracy, suicide, drug use, public corruption, and other social ills began a dramatic increase after the Engel vs. Vitale Supreme Court decision was made in 1962 which banned school prayer. Prayer in schools prior to 1962 was utilized in school districts all over the U.S. in many varieties. Some teachers used extemporaneous prayers, simply expressing their thoughts and desires; others implemented structured prayers, such as the Lord’s Prayer or the 23rd Psalm, or others approved by local school boards. New York students prayed each day: “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on Thee and beg Thy blessing over us, our parents, our teachers, and our nation.” It was this simple prayer which came under fire and went to the Supreme Court for the landmark decision. Says David Barton, “It is impossible to know how many of the 39 million children were involved in daily verbal prayers, but most accounts indicate that a clear majority of the students voluntarily participated in daily school prayer. Is it possible that the prayers that were being offered by these children and their teachers across the nation actually had any measurable, tangible effect?” It was this question that led Barton to uncover the statistical proof that the removal of prayer did indeed take its toll on America. Below are just a few of the examples featured in Barton’s report. A. Young People 1. For 15 years before 1963 pregnancies in girls ages 15 through 19 years had been no more than 15 per thousand After 1963 pregnancies increased 187% in the next 15 years. 2. For younger girls, ages 10 to 14 years, pregnancies since 1963 are up 553%. 3. Before 1963 sexually transmitted diseases among students were 400 per 100,000. Since 1963, they were up 226% in the next 12 years. B. The Family 1. Before 1963 divorce rates had been declining for 15 years. After 1963 divorces increased 300%each year for the next 15 years. 2. Since 1963 unmarried people living together is up 353% 3. Since 1963 single parent families are up 140%. 4. Since 1963 single parent families with children are up 160%. C. Education 1. The educational standard of measure has been the SAT scores. SAT scores had been steady for many years before 1963. From 1963 they rapidly declined for 18 consecutive years, even though the same test has been used since 1941. 2. In 1974-75 the rate of decline of the SAT scores decreased, even though they continued to decline. That was when there was an explosion of private religious schools. There were only 1000 Christian schools in 1965. Between 1974 to 1984 they increased to 32,000. a. That could have an impact if the private schools had higher SAT scores. In checking with the SAT Board it was found that indeed the SAT scores for private schools were nearly 100 points higher than public schools. b. In fact the scores were at the point where the public schools had been before their decline started in 1963 when prayer and Bible reading/ instruction was removed from the schools. c. The scores in the public schools were still declining. 3. Of the nation’s top academic scholars, three times as many come from private religious schools, which operate on one-third the funds as do the public schools. D. The Nation 1. Since 1963 violent crime has increased 544%. 3. Illegal drugs have become an enormous & uncontrollable problem. 2. The nation has been deprived of an estimated 30 million citizens through legal abortions just since 1973. Now let’s move forward 10 year, to 1973… and see what happen that year?
ROE v. WADEDecided January 22, 1973A pregnant single woman (Roe) brought a class action challenging the constitutionality of the Texas criminal abortion laws, which proscribe procuring or attempting an abortion except on medical advice for the purpose of saving the mother’s life. A licensed physician (Hallford), who had two state abortion prosecutions pending against him, was permitted to intervene. A childless married couple (the Does), the wife not being pregnant, separately attacked the laws, basing alleged injury on the future possibilities of contraceptive failure, pregnancy, unpreparedness for parenthood, and impairment of the wife’s health. A three-judge District Court, which consolidated the actions, held that Roe and Hallford, and members of their classes, had standing to sue and presented justiciable controversies. Ruling that declaratory, though not injunctive, relief was warranted, the court declared the abortion statutes void as vague and overbroadly infringing those plaintiffs’ Ninth and Fourteenth Amendment rights. The court ruled the Does’ complaint not justiciable. Appellants directly appealed to this Court on the injunctive rulings, and appellee cross-appealed from the District Court’s grant of declaratory relief to Roe and Hallford. |
Let’s look at what actually happened, and what was the real reason behind this legal action, that has resulted in the death of over 50 Million unborn babies to date, in the U.S. alone!

Learn more at So as we look at our world today, and the sad example we here in the United States of America have become, and how our society and our culture in general has been on the decline for so many years; and then you ask yourself the reason why, and how is it that we got here? I think the ONLY answer that makes any sense at all, is that we got here by not following and obeying the laws of God; and by breaking covenant with Him.
One thing is for sure, to the extent we have removed God from our culture and our society, both have suffered; and the same is equally true in our personal lives as well!
God didn’t just put us here to take up space, and to live as we see fit! Whereas it is true that He gave us each a free will to choose how we will spend our lives; the Bible is very clear on this point, that it is God’s one desire that we each of our own free will and volition will choose to spend our lives upon Him!
The Bible also tells us that we only have the time between when we are first born into this world, as a child; and then when we exit in our death, when our physical bodies return to the dust, from which it came, to make that decision.
Jesus is the only example we have, as to what God intends for us, and how our lives are supposed to be lived, and that is why Jesus is called the “Last Adam.”
We learn about Jesus, that He only did the things He saw the Father do; and only even spoke those things He heard the Father speak; and so Jesus lived out His entire life in perfect sync and harmony with the will of the Father.
To the extent you and I fail to do that, is what SIN is all about; where (as we learn in Isa 53) that “All of us as sheep have gone astray, and the Lord has laid upon Him (Jesus) the inequity of us ALL!”
So what am I saying in all of this?
Let none of us think that we shall escape being accountable before God, for how we spent our lives… because the Bible is very clear that we will ALL have to stand before Him one day and give Him an account!
For those of us who have made Jesus Christ Lord, not just in name, calling ourselves Christian; but have made Him Lord in that we have died to ourselves, our ambitions, our wants, and desires; and have given ourselves completely over to His service; and are living our lives, by faith, as best we can, just as Jesus exemplified… for those people, who are by faith following Jesus, ONLY those people (says the Bible) will spend eternity in Heaven!
Now the truth is, none of us can do that perfectly; and that is why we ALL need a Saviour; because Jesus paid the price for our SIN, meaning our missing the mark of God’s standards; and so those of us who have been born-again, the Bible says that we have been saved by grace… and therefore are recipients of God’s unmerited favor!
Everyone else, who has lived their lives as they saw fit, to serve themselves… each of them, the Bible says, will have to stand before God accountable for their own sins… and folks believe me when I tell you, you DO NOT want to be in that group!!!
So my suggestion is, if you haven’t already done so, why not make your peace with God today?

Identifying the Antichrist and the misinterpretation of last day’s eschatological events…
Last Day’s Eschatology …
getting it right!
As we look to our Bible and to history, it is clear to see that the first century Believers, that were the Covenant Children of God, among the Jewish people of that time, that all of them, even the disciples of Jesus, they all had it wrong, as to how Messiah would appear, and what He would accomplish.
Could this also be happening today?
Could the popular Bible teachers of our day, also be wrong on their interpretation of these end of days prophecies? I think so.
The WND article (below) discusses this possibility.
There are also those, who are equally mistaken, among some within the church today, who believe that God has replaced Israel with the church… this is also not so!!!
God’s promises to Abraham and to his descendants are still intact, and they will ALL be fulfilled as promised.
God has no “Replacement Theology,” and He never has.
In fact, it is my belief that the errors of today’s interpretation of eschatology is not the only area where the church has been wrong..
One of the basic beliefs and tenets of the Orthodox Jewish believers, even until this day, is to search for the “Lost Tribes of Israel,” who have been separated from their sister, House of Judah, ever since around 750 BC.
Listen to this prophecy that was given by Hosea, which was directed to the House of Israel; and get a clue as to where these lost tribes have settled, and what they will look like.
You will note that each one of the children, who were named here, were named in order to give a message to the House of Israel.
Hosea 1
1 The word of the LORD that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
The Family of Hosea
2 When the LORD began to speak by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea:
” Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry
And children of harlotry,
For the land has committed great harlotry
By departing from the LORD.”
3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son. 4Then the LORD said to him:
” Call his name Jezreel,
For in a little while
I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu,
And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5 It shall come to pass in that day
That I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.”
6 And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him:
” Call her name Lo-Ruhamah,[a]
For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel,
But I will utterly take them away.[b]
7 Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah,
Will save them by the LORD their God,
And will not save them by bow,
Nor by sword or battle,
By horses or horsemen.”
8 Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son. 9 Then God said:
” Call his name Lo-Ammi,[c]
For you are not My people,
And I will not be your God.
The Restoration of Israel
10 ” Yet the number of the children of Israel
Shall be as the sand of the sea,
Which cannot be measured or numbered.
And it shall come to pass
In the place where it was said to them,
‘ You are not My people,’[d]
There it shall be said to them,
‘ You are sons of the living God.’
11 Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel
Shall be gathered together,
And appoint for themselves one head;
And they shall come up out of the land,
For great will be the day of Jezreel!
When you hear people today talking about how they have found one of the lost tribes, and they are on some remote island or some other remote place, running around with Jewish Yamakas on, practicing the Jewish faith, then you can know that they are not the House of Israel, because God very clearly says that they will no longer be known as “God’s people,” and the reason is because they no longer will be practicing the Jewish faith.
Not only that, but it also says that in that lost condition they will multiply as the sand of the sea, so obviously we aren’t looking for a small group in some remote part of the earth.
None of this ever happen to the House of Judah, because they have always retained their culture and their faith, all down through the centuries; but that was not to be for their barren sister, House of Israel.
Here are a few more clues:
Jeremiah 3:8
8And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
House of Judah was never divorced by God; and furthers more, we read:
Jeremiah 3:16
16 “Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the LORD, “that they will say no more, ‘The ark of the covenant of the LORD.’ It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore.”
God is plainly letting us know here that wherever the Lost Tribes are to be found, they will exist as a great number of people, and they will not be practicing the Jewish faith.

Because the last-days empire of the Antichrist as described in the Books of Daniel and Revelation is portrayed as a 10-nation alliance, this teacher confidently declared that when the number of EU member states reached 10, this would signal the imminent return of Jesus Christ. And soon, the number of EU member states reached the magic number 10 just as this teacher had predicted. Then the number reached 11, and then 12. Soon there were 20. Today there are 27 member states. The teacher’s very confident predictions failed.” Richardson said the formation of the EU in 1993 spurred even more prophecy teachers to set their sights on Europe. “But the present harsh realities in Europe may soon cause all of this Euro-centric, restored Roman Empire prognosticating to come crashing down,” writes Richardson. He also expects many Christians to become disillusioned as the EU fights for its very survival, rather than for the global dominance that was predicted. The author of “The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth About the True Nature of the Beast” wants everyone to know that if the EU falls, it is not an indictment of the truth of the Bible. “Despite its popularity, the Euro-centric end-time perspective has never represented anything akin to Christian orthodoxy or dogma,” he writes. “Throughout the history of the church, many great Christian leaders have looked not to Europe, but to the Middle East for the emergence of an end-time empire. In fact, going back to the first few centuries of the church, the consistent testimony of the early believers is that the Antichrist, his empire and his religion would arise from out of the Middle East, and not Europe. As such, rather than tacking in the wind yet again, what many teachers and students of Bible prophecy are awakening to is the reality that the biblical prophecies about the last days are thoroughly Jerusalem, Israel and Middle-Eastern-centric. What many Westerners, and perhaps Americans most of all, often fail to recognize is the fact that the Bible is a thoroughly Eastern book. Always has been. As shocking as this may be to some, the Bible was not written primarily for Americans.” When “”The Islamic Antichrist” was released last fall, it immediately zoomed to the top of the religious charts at Amazon and the No. 1 spot among all books at Scribd – an online e-booker retailer. Yet Richardson, a student of Islam and the Middle East, found few churches in America welcoming him as a guest speaker. He was not invited to address many prophecy conferences. He found himself as a “political incorrect” outsider in most evangelical circles. His book makes the case that the biblical Antichrist is one and the same as the Quran’s Muslim Mahdi. “The Bible abounds with proofs that the Antichrist’s empire will consist only of nations that are, today, Islamic,” says Richardson. “Despite the numerous prevailing arguments for the emergence of a revived European Roman empire as the Antichrist’s power base, the specific nations the Bible identifies as comprising his empire are today all Muslim.” Richardson believes the key error of many previous prophecy scholars involves the misinterpretation of a prediction by Daniel to Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel describes the rise and fall of empires of the future, leading to the end times. Western Christians have viewed one of those empires as Rome, when, claims Richardson, Rome never actually conquered Babylon and was thus disqualified as a possibility. It had to be another empire that rose and fell and rose again that would lead to rule of this “man of sin,” described in the Bible. That empire, he says, is the Islamic empire, which did conquer Babylon and, in fact, rules over it even today. Many Evangelical Christians believe the Bible predicts a charismatic ruler, the Antichrist, will arise in the last days, before the return of Jesus. The Quran also predicts that a man, called the Mahdi, will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. Richardson makes the case these two men are, in fact, one in the same. “Today, many scholars, students and teachers alike are acknowledging the consistent testimony of the prophets as pointing us to the Middle East,” he writes today. “As any realtor will tell you, it’s all about location, location, location.
Likewise, as any astute Bible student should know, the first issue that must be established when attempting to properly interpret the Bible is context, context, context. And simply stated, the context of virtually all biblical prophecy is Israel and the Middle East. Jesus will not be returning to Paris, London or Independence, Missouri, but rather Jerusalem. Literally every last one of the final battles as depicted by all of the biblical prophets take place in Israel and the surrounding vicinity. When the prophets specify which nations surround Israel to attack her, the wording used in Hebrew is goyim caybib, which translated means ‘the surrounding nations.’ These are Israel’s neighbors; they are not references to Belgium or Luxembourg or Rome.”

There is a cycle that we can learn from the Bible, in how God deals with a disobedient people.
Now we can learn from this history, and correct the problem, or we can repeat it… it’s our choice!
Here is the cycle:
| 1. Peace and prosperity: God’s gifts to the people He loved. 2. Apathy and compromise: They took His gifts for granted and forgot to thank Him. 3. Rebellion (humanism) and paganism: They traded God for other sources of strength. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.” (1 Samuel 15:23) 4. Famine, war, plagues and slaver: Showing the people the inadequacy of their own resources, God would bring them back to Himself. 5. Confession and repentance: The people recognized their need for God. 6. God hears, saves and restores: He blesses His people with peace — as long as they follow Him. When they turn to other gods, He stands back and waits. |

Tim,
You might be right about that… I’ve heard that some have suspected sabotage, possibly from North Korea.
Whether it is or not the result of sabotage, regardless, we are nevertheless without leadership in Washington; and worse, as the Bible says a house divided cannot long stand, I think that also applies to nations as well.
Add to that problem, when you also have a corrupt and flawed foundation in any house, you have a serious problem; and as Jesus said, “When the winds of adversity come (not if, but when they come), that house will not stand!”
On the positive side, I also know that Christians are praying; and that fact alone gives us the advantage over any strategy of the enemy!
I also think with all that is wrong with our nation, and getting worse every day… this nation is ripe for a Revival!
From God’s perspective, all of these things, and even those things that are yet to happen (and I think very soon), which I believe will be much worse than an oil spill, if it brings America to its knees, and if it causes men and women to turn back to God in repentance, then it is well worth it!
Besides, from God’s perspective, that is always his ultimate reason and goal, when things like this happen… to bring us to our knees in repentance, and bring us home!
If the Bible teaches us anything, it is that God ultimately is in control of everything; and that is true, even though Satan is the one who kills, steals, and destroys!
Whatever happens, God either allows it, or disallows it (as He did with Job)… and I believe that often the outcome is hinged upon whether we, who are the Christians, are praying, and are as the 300 wise soldiers, in Gideon’s army?
We mustn’t forget that we are in a war, both in the spiritual and in also in the natural; and in every war there are always causalities.
Also in war all are affected, including both the good and the bad; and what makes the difference in which way the battle goes, will be those who have learned to fight, using their spiritual weapons; who also have learned not to be discouraged; and to rather keep their focus on Jesus, and on the battle… and not on themselves! Selah
The best we can do, as Christians, in these times is to do as Jesus said, “Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
Let us stay close to the Word, and follow the Holy Spirit’s leading, moment by moment, 24/7; and most importantly, let us not be fearful, regardless of what happens.
Remember Jesus has promised to NEVER leave, nor forsake us; and regardless of how bad things get, or how bad they look, let us keep our focus on Christ!
Besides, I read the end of the Book (the Bible)… and guess what, we win!
Whatever happens, let us remember to keep Jesus first!

Why is it that our government ignores the will of the people… DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?
We the People have spoken, and are speaking; but our government and also the news media are deaf, dumb, and blind!!!

Gee, I wonder why none of this was on the evening news?
Aren’t you even going to ask the question; don’t you want to know, why is this so… that our government is so obtuse?
How is it that our government is so unresponsive to the will of the people?
Why is it that what most of Americans want, or don’t want, makes no difference anymore in Washington DC?
The truth is, our President, and both Houses of Congress obviously have a different agenda then the rest of the country, and are marching to a different drum beat.
So what is that agenda, and who sets the beat?
Do you really want to know what’s going on, and why our government and media are so obtuse and unconcern about what We the People want?
Well, the reason is they are no longer working for us… and they haven’t been for over 100 years.
Read on and this will explain what’s going on:
| The date is February 21, 1871 and the Forty-First Congress is in session: I refer you to the “Acts of the Forty-First Congress,” Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62. On this date in the history of our nation, Congress passed an Act titled: “An Act To Provide A Government for the District of Columbia.” This is also known as the “Act of 1871.” What does this mean? Well, it means that Congress, under no constitutional authority to do so, created a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, which is a ten mile square parcel of land. What??? How could they do that? Moreover, WHY would they do that? To explain, let’s look at the circumstances of those days. The Act of 1871 was passed at a vulnerable time in America. Our nation was essentially bankrupt — weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War. The Civil War itself was nothing more than a calculated “front” for some pretty fancy footwork by corporate backroom players. It was a strategic maneuver by European interests (the international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the neck (and the coffers) of America. The Congress realized our country was in dire financial straits, so they cut a deal with the international bankers — (in those days, the Rothschilds of London were dipping their fingers into everyone’s pie) thereby incurring a DEBT to said bankers. If we think about banks, we know they do not just lend us money out of the goodness of their hearts. A bank will not do anything for you unless it is entirely in their best interest to do so. There has to be some sort of collateral or some string attached which puts you and me (the borrower) into a subservient position. This was true back in 1871 as well. The conniving international bankers were not about to lend our floundering nation any money without some serious stipulations. So, they devised a brilliant way of getting their foot in the door of the United States (a prize they had coveted for some time, but had been unable to grasp thanks to our Founding Fathers, who despised them and held them in check), and thus, the Act of 1871 was passed. In essence, this Act formed the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. Note the capitalization, because it is important. This corporation, owned by foreign interests, moved right in and shoved the original “organic” version of the Constitution into a dusty corner. With the “Act of 1871,” our Constitution was defaced in the sense that the title was block-capitalized and the word “for” was changed to the word “of” in the title. The original Constitution drafted by the Founding Fathers, was written in this manner: “The Constitution for the united states of America”. The altered version reads: “THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. It is the corporate constitution. It is NOT the same document you might think it is. The corporate constitution operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it is the same parchment that governs the Republic. It absolutely is not. Capitalization — an insignificant change? Not when one is referring to the context of a legal document, it isn’t. Such minor alterations have had major impacts on each subsequent generation born in this country. What the Congress did with the passage of the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia. The kind of government THEY created was a corporation. The new, altered Constitution serves as the constitution of the corporation, and not that of America. Think about that for a moment. Incidentally, this corporate constitution does not benefit the Republic. It serves only to benefit the corporation. It does nothing good for you or me — and it operates outside of the original Constitution. Instead of absolute rights guaranteed under the “organic” Constitution, we now have “relative” rights or privileges. One example of this is the Sovereign’s right to travel, which has been transformed under corporate government policy into a “privilege” which we must be licensed to engage in. This operates outside of the original Constitution. So, Congress committed TREASON against the People, who were considered Sovereign under the Declaration of Independence and the organic Constitution. When we consider the word “Sovereign,” we must think about what the word means. According to Webster’s Dictionary, “sovereign” is defined as: 1. chief or highest; supreme. 2. Supreme in power, superior in position to all others. 3. Independent of, and unlimited by, any other, possessing or entitled to, original and independent authority or jurisdiction. In other words, our government was created by and for “sovereigns” — the free citizens who were deemed the highest authority. Only the People can be sovereign — remember that. Government cannot be sovereign. We can also look to the Declaration of Independence, where we read: “government is subject to the consent of the governed” — that’s supposed to be us, the sovereigns. Do you feel like a sovereign nowadays? I don’t. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a constitutional historian to figure out that this is not what is happening in our country today. Government in these times is NOT subject to the consent of the governed. Rather, the governed are subject to the whim and greed of the corporation, which has stretched its tentacles beyond the ten-mile-square parcel of land known as the District of Columbia — encroaching into every state of the Republic. Mind you, the corporation has NO jurisdiction outside of the District of Columbia. THEY just want you to think it does. You see, you are presumed to know the law. This is ironic because as a people, we are taught basically nothing about the law in school. We are made to memorize obscure factoids and paragraphs here and there, such as the Preamble, and they gloss over the Bill of Rights. But we are not told about the law. Nor do our corporate government schools delve into the Constitution in any great depth. After all, they were put into place to indoctrinate and dumb down the masses — not to teach us anything. We were not told that we were sold-out to foreign interests and made beneficiaries of the debt incurred by Congress to the international bankers. For generations, American citizens have had the bulk of their earnings confiscated to pay on a massive debt that they, as a People, did not incur. There are many, many things the People have not been told. How do you feel about being made a beneficiary of somebody else’s massive debt without your knowledge or consent? Are we gonna keep going along with this?? When you hear some individuals say that the Constitution is null and void, think about how our government has transformed over time from a municipal or service-oriented entity to a corporate or profit-oriented entity. We are living under the myth that this is lawful, but it is not. We are being ruled by a “de facto,” or unlawful, form of government — the corporate body of the death-mongers — The Controllers. With the passage of the Act of 1871, a series of subtle and overt deceptions were set in motion — all in conjunction and collusion with the Congress, who knowingly and deliberately sold the People down the river. Did they tell you this in government school? I doubt it. They were too busy drumming the fictional version of history into your brain — and mine. By failing to disclose what THEY did to the American People, the people became ignorant of what was happening. Over time, the Republic took it on the chin to the point of a knockdown. With the surrender of their gold in 1933, the People essentially surrendered their law. I don’t suppose you were taught THAT in school either. That’s because our REAL history is hidden from us. This is the way Roman Civil Law works — and our form of governance today is based upon Roman Civil Law and Admiralty/Maritime Law — better known as the “Divine Right of Kings” and “Law of the Seas”, respectively. This explains a lot. Roman Civil Law was fully established in the original colonies even before our nation began and is also known as private international law. The government which was created for the District of Columbia via the Act of 1871 operates under Private International Law, and not Common Law, which was the law of the Constitutional Republic. This is very important to note since it impacts all Americans in concrete ways. You must recognize that private international law is only applicable within the District of Columbia and NOT in the other states of the Union. The various arms of the corporation are known as “departments” such as the Judiciary, Justice and Treasury. You recognize those names? Yes, you do! But they are not what you assume them to be. These “departments” all belong to the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. They do NOT belong to you and me under the corporate constitution and its various amendments that operate outside of the Constitutional Republic. I refer you to the UNITED STATES CODE (note the capitalization, indicating the corporation, not the Republic) Title 28 3002 (15) (A) (B) (C). It is stated unequivocally that the UNITED STATES is a corporation. Realize, too, that the corporation is not a separate and distinct entity from the government. It IS the government. YOUR government. This is extremely important. I refer to this as the “corporate empire of the UNITED STATES,” which operates under Roman Civil Law outside of the Constitution. How do you like being ruled by a cheesy, sleazy corporation? You’ll ask your Congressperson about this, you say? HA!! Congress is fully aware of this deception. You must be made aware that the members of Congress do NOT work for you and me. Rather, they work for the Corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. Is this really any surprise to you? This is why we can’t get them to do anything on our behalf or to answer to us — as in the case with the illegal income tax — among many other things. Contrary to popular belief, they are NOT our civil servants. They do NOT work for us. They are the servants of the corporate government and carry out its bidding. Period. The great number of committees and sub-committees that the Congress has created all work together like a multi-headed monster to oversee the various corporate “departments.” And, you should know that every single one of these that operates outside the District of Columbia is in violation of the law. The corporate government of the UNITED STATES has no jurisdiction or authority in ANY state of the Republic beyond the District of Columbia. Let this sink into your brain for a minute. Ask yourself, “Could this deception REALLY have occurred without the full knowledge and complicity of the Congress?” Do you think it happened by accident? You are deceiving yourself if you do. There are no accidents or coincidences. It is time to confront the truth and awaken from ignorance. Your legislators will not apprise you of this information. You are presumed to know the law. THEY know you don’t know the law, or your history for that matter, because this information has not been taught to you. No concerted effort has been made to inform you. As a Sovereign, you are entitled to full disclosure of the facts. As a slave, you are entitled to nothing other than what the corporation decides to “give” you — at a price. Be wary of accepting so-called “benefits” of the corporation of the UNITED STATES. Aren’t you enslaved enough already? I said (above) that you are presumed to know the law. Still, it matters not if you don’t in the eyes of the corporation. Ignorance of the law is not considered an excuse. It is your responsibility and your obligation as an American to learn about the law and how it applies to you. THEY count on the fact that most people are too uninterested or distracted or lazy to do so. The People have been mentally conditioned to allow the alleged government to do their thinking for them. We need to turn that around if we are to save our Republic before it is too late. The UNITED STATES government is basically a corporate instrument of the international bankers. This means YOU are owned by the corporation from birth to death. The corporate UNITED STATES also holds ownership of all your assets, your property, and even your children. Does this sound untrue? Think long and hard about all those bills you pay, all those various taxes and fines and licenses you must pay for. Yes, they’ve got you by the pockets. Actually, they’ve had you by the ass for as long as you’ve been alive. In your heart, you know it’s true. Don’t believe any of this? Read up on the 14th Amendment. Check out how “free” you really are. With the Act of 1871 and subsequent legislation such as the purportedly ratified 14th Amendment, our once-great nation of Sovereigns has been subverted from a Republic to a democracy. As is the case under Roman Civil Law, our ignorance of the facts has led to our silence. Our silence has been construed as our consent to become beneficiaries of a debt we did not incur. The Sovereign People have been deceived for hundreds of years into thinking they remain free and independent, when in actuality we continue to be slaves and servants of the corporation. Treason was committed against the People in 1871 by the Congress. This could have been corrected through the decades by some honest men (assuming there were some), but it was not, mainly due to lust for money and power. Nothing new there. Are we to forgive and justify this crime against the People? You have lost more freedom than you may realize due to corporate infiltration of the so-called government. We will lose more unless we turn away from a democracy that is the direct road to disaster — and restore our Constitutional Republic. In an upcoming article, we’ll take a closer look at the purportedly ratified 14th Amendment and how we became “property” of the corporation and enslaved by our silence. I am saddened to think about the brave men and women who were killed in all the wars and conflicts instigated by the Controllers. These courageous souls fought for the preservation of ideals they believed to be true — not for the likes of a corporation. Do you believe that any one of the individuals who have been killed as a result of war would have willingly fought if they knew the full truth? Do you think one person would have laid down his life for a corporation? I think not. If the People had known long ago to what extent their trust had been betrayed, I wonder how long it would have taken for another Revolution. What we need is a Revolution in THOUGHT. We change our thinking and we change our world. Will we ever restore the Republic? That is a question I cannot answer yet. I hope, and most of all — pray — that WE, the Sovereign People, will work together in a spirit of cooperation to make it happen in this lifetime. I know I will give it my best shot — come what may. Our children deserve their rightful legacy — the liberty our ancestors fought so hard to give to us. Will we remain silent telling ourselves we are free, and perpetuate the MYTH? Or, do we stand as One Sovereign People, and take back what has been stolen from the house of our Republic? Something to think about — it’s called freedom. |

But I have good news… there is a move afoot, right now, to restore our Republic; and ALL fifty states have already signed on, and are on board with this movement.
This is going on right now folks, and the only reason why you are not being told is because the media works for the other side; and they ONLY tell you want they want you to know, in those news items that serve their purpose, and that of their handlers, the Globalist International Bankers.
That’s the other thing that we so desperately need, and that is a honest press!
The truth tellers of today are the bloggers and news sources that you can find over the Internet.
Our government hasn’t yet been able to shut us up, or control us… although this Obama administration is certainly trying.

What is that SWOOSHING sound?
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
That “Swooshing” sound that you hear is the sound that is made as the enemy comes in and fills the vacuum that is left by Christians who have abdicated their society and culture, as well as the marketplaces of their communities.
Even nature will not long tolerate a vacuum, and certainly it is no different in the spiritual realm either.
When Jesus came over 2000 years ago, and announced to the then Roman dominated world of that time, that the Kingdom of God was at hand, the Jews of that day knew exactly what that meant; as did also the Roman citizens of that era.
You see in the then Roman dominated world, that existed then, whenever the Roman army would conquer a new area or region, they would afterwards seen in messengers, who would announce to the people of these newly conquered lands, what they called the “Good News;” and that good news was that there was a new king coming to town, and lawlessness and anarchy was coming to an end!
So when Jesus announced to the world that the “Good News” (the Gospel) of the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand, of course the Jewish citizens understood that to mean that the long awaited Messiah was about to restore the Throne of David; and thereby restore sovereignty once again to the nation of Israel… something for which they had longed for, and that had been lost 500 years earlier, ever since Israel had been conquered by King Nebuchadnezzar, and the Babylonian Empire.
Ever since that time, and for that matter even until our present time, that had not changed, as Israel has always been dominated by foreign nations and rulers, and that’s also just as the Bible had prophesied would happen, when it said that “The land of Israel would be trodden down by the gentiles“… and that condition did not change until May 14th, 1948, when for the first time the Independent Nation of Israel was reborn.
What a miracle that this should happen in our day, after all these thousands of years, after the descendants of Abraham have been dispersed around the world!
That in itself is a total miracle, and that miracle continues to grow and blossom in that desert, even today… once again, just as it was prophesied would happen in the Bible.
What we see happening in the Western cultures today, of Western Europe, is a definite shift in power, and this is especially true in Great Britain, and in France, but I am sad to say that it is also true, and is happening today in the United States as well.
All of these nations were once predominately Christian, but today it can be said that they are in a post Christian era; and as I said, this is also happening in the United States.
How has this happened, you might be asking?
Well it has happened as Christians in all of these countries, have over the years, taken a back seat in their culture, and have abdicated and have given over the positions of power, within their respective governments, and also in the marketplace, to the unbelievers, to the atheists and the agnostics of their societies; and the inevitable has happened, as a result, in that the forces of evil, the demonic forces of Satan, have swooshed in to fill the vacuum!
This was NEVER God’s will, and nor was it God’s plan, that this should happen.
Jesus after all did not come and offer His life, so that Christians could meet together and have church once a week on Sundays… folks that was never God’s plan!
What happened in the first century church is that these men and women turned the then world of their time upside down, as the Good News, The Gospel of the Kingdom of God was not only preached, but it was manifested through miraculous signs and wonders.
Somewhere down the road, as Christian denominations began to organize, and as man started to take over, where once the Church had been lead and directed by the Holy Spirit, this is what has happened… the once powerful church has lost both its power and its influence in the culture!

Now let me also say here, least some of you lose heart, and wonder if it’s already too late… the answer is a resounding NO!
One way or another, Christ is going to build His Church, and the gates of hell SHALL NOT prevail against her!
This pattern that we can see happening, of this wishy-washy tendency of man, can be seen all throughout history, and it is even recorded in the Bible.
Alexander Tyler also recorded this tendency, back in 18th century, where he noted that the average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has always been about 200 years.
Where these nations have progressed through the following sequence of events: “From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to apathy; from apathy to dependence; and from dependency back again into bondage.”
Folks, is it just me, or can you not also see the handwriting on the wall, that we are today in the “Dependency” stage, as an already bankrupt government is offering once again, and is vying to retain its power by offering its citizens gifts from the already bankrupt public treasury.
Well it is happening again, as the citizens of our communities, who are already panicked over the economic chaos that is all around them, and is getting worse by the day, in this inflationary economy; and also, along with that, to make matters even worse, we have the devaluation of our currency, with its buying power getting less and less every day, as well.
So here we are once again, just as Alexander Tyler predicted, where the people of our time, in our country today, are making the mistake, by always voting for those candidates who are promising them the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that our Constitutional Republic is collapsing all around us, over the loose fiscal policy of our government, and their foolish and unbridled spending; and the next inevitable step that will happen, unless something drastic changes our current path, is that we will be taken over, sooner than you think, by a totalitarian dictatorship.
Believe it or not, folks, this is the agenda and plan of the Globalist International Bankers; and we are just falling right into their trap; as it is their intention to bankrupt our economy, in order to weaken us, as a people, to the point, that we will accept their offer to come in and fix our economy, give us new currency, and take care of us… and then, as the Bible prophecies will happen next… then enters the Antichrist, and the mark of the beast, without which the Bible says that no man can buy or sell!
Pray folks, because we are living in that time… and it is an exciting time, and also a very pressurized time to live in.
Those who will survive the coming shaking that is about to shake our world, will be those who have founded their faith on nothing else, but Jesus Christ! Selah
